Welcome to the Mew age. Anyone is free to enter. But some may not leave.
If you wish to participate, please post in this thread clearly indicating so.
There are no limits to the number of entrants. Signups close 6:00pm AEST on April 30th.

Rules:
- Double elimination
- 3 stock, 10 minute timer.
- A set is comprised of a best of three games. Winners and losers' finals and semi-finals, as well as grand finals are best of five.
- In the case of the time limit running out, the winner is the player with the most number of stocks remaining. If this is equal, the winner is the one with the lower damage. If this is also equal, a rematch is required (same stage)
- Items are switched to "off" and "none".
- Customisations are "off".
- Mewtwo is not banned.
- Everyone else is banned.
- If Bowser Jr.'s clown car glitch is activated, this means someone is playing the wrong character. Disqualified.

Probably won't bother with stage bans cos dittos. Let the game decide or discuss with your opponent if you have a stage you prefer. I dunno whatever figure it out, you're Mewtwo.

- Set procedure:
- Game 1:
1. Both players announce their characters using telepathy. No guessing allowed.
2. The player listed on top in the Challonge bracket / on the left in my forum posts picks a stage from the stage select. The other guy does the same thing at some point.
- Following games:
1. Same.
2. Can't pick the same stage though

General etiquette:
- I am not setting a time limit for this tournament to finish. However, if you have not shown to be trying to organise your matches in a timely manner, you will be cloned and your clone will fight for you.
- As a general courtesy, please try to avoid downloading or having household members download anything while you play your matches.
- If there are disputes I can spectate games (join as a third player, then interfere as much as possible) to police if need be. Please understand that it is difficult to police online tournaments. If anyone is caught repeatedly trying to abuse our trust they will be killed by a long range shadow ball, so be warned.
