- 3 stock, 9 minute timer.

- A set is comprised of a best of three games. Winners and losers' finals and semi-finals, as well as grand finals are best of five.

- In the case of the time limit running out, the winner is the player with the most number of stocks remaining. If this is equal, the winner is the one with the lower damage. If this is also equal, a rematch is required (same characters, same stage).

- If a sudden death is caused as a result of a suicide move, the initiator of the move is granted the victory. If a sudden death is caused due to both players dying at the same time, a rematch is played.
- Items are switched to "off" and "none".

- Customisations are "on". ALL CUSTOM MOVES AND EQUIPMENT IS LEGAL. This is a really serious tournament and if you go in with a 1111 set up and no equipment, you will be DQ'd and I'll ask one of the admins to kick you from the site.

- Starter stages are Luigi's Mansion, Mushroom Kingdom U, Wooly World, Gamer and Orbital Gate Assault. The person who bans first is the person on the upper side of challonge bracket. The other player bans 2 and then the first player picks from one of the two remaining stages. You can organise this through skype, FB or PM on here.

- Counterpick stages are Great Cave Offensive, 75m, Jungle Hijinx, Halberd (Recommended for use against Joel), Kalos Pokemon League, Port Town Aero Dive, Temple and Norfair.

-Grand Final Stages are to be chosen from Great Cave Offensive, Temple, Gamer, Wily's Castle, Pac Land, Orbital Gate Assault, Garden of Hope, Wrecking Crew and Palutena's Temple. Full list stage striking for round 1 and then CP with 1 ban after that. No stage can be used more than once because fun stages are fun.

-Gentleman's Rule is allowed but NO TRADITIONAL TOURNEY STAGES. They are illegal in this tournament for a reason (Except for halberd, but there's a reason that it's legal).

- For games two and beyond in a set, player that won the last game chooses two stages to ban. The loser then chooses one of the starter or counterpick stages to play the next game on.

- Characters and customs are to be announced before stages are picked. Customs are to be picked and announced as characters are picked.

-Mewtwo is legal cos Yolo this is so serious

As an aside, if anyone wants equipment to be announced before stage selection then let me know and I'll make that a rule but I don't see why it needs to be.
