To celebrate the release of Lucas on Smash Bros. and Earthbound Beginnings, let's have a Ness/Lucas Wii U tournament! Everyone is welcome to join, even if you've never played either of them before!

The prize will be a special Mother-related badge that will be awarded to the PSI Powerhouse that wins.

Please post on this thread if you would like to enter. There are no limits on the amount of entrants, but signups will close at 10:00pm AEST on 24th June.

Rules:
- 3 stock, 10 minutes, Best of Three games (except semis - grand finals, which will be best of 5). The tournament itself is Double Elimination.
- If the timer runs out, the player who wins is the one with more stocks. If this is equal, then it is the player who has the least percentage. If this is also equal, replay the game with the same characters and stage.
- If sudden death happens, replay the game again with same characters and stage.
- Only Ness and Lucas are allowed. That does not include Miis with Ness or Lucas as their name.
- Customs/Equipment are banned.
- All items are banned except Mr. Saturns. However, if anyone is caught throwing a Mr. Saturn offstage I will PK Fire them out of this tourney.
- There are two legal stages: Onett, and its omega variant.

Procedure:
- Both players tell each other their character.
- Select either Onett or its omega form and let the Apple of Enlightenment decide your fate.
- SMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASH!!!!!!!!!!!
- Repeat for the set. If there is dispute between character selection, have the Winner of the previous game choose first.

General Notes:
- There is no deadline for this to finish by, but if you are not seen to be organising your matches in a timely manner I will send you to Giygas.
- As a courtesy, please refrain from having your party members download or stream anything while you're playing your matches. Especially Jeff.
- If there are disputes you can give a PM to Boney and I'll teleport there in a sec'.
