All day Monday Smashers will be able to bring TVs and setups to play friendlies in the venue with a double elimination tournament starting at 6:30pm. Entry to the tournament only requires you to spend $10 at Beach Burrito.
At this stage the tourneys will not count towards Elo as there is no cash prize however if this becomes popular it may change in the future. Prizes are as follows: 1st Eat/drink free for a week. (50 dollar gift card) 2nd Free burrito 3rd Free taco
We are also planning to create a wall of fame at the venue which will list the winner of each weekly tournament so for this reason I encourage you not to offer Jaice transport to the venue.
There is one projector already in store which will have a setup but it's encouraged that we bring additional setups and TVs if possible. Eric, the manager of the store who initiated this idea is a Smash player himself with a background in competitive gaming. He is keen to work with the community to make this an exciting regular event so I am hoping some people will be able to turn up and show their support. Shitashi
