Pro Bracket:
1st Place = 6 points
2nd Place = 4 points
3rd Place = 2 points
Pools:
1st = 1 point
2nd = 0.5 points
*Final Destination will count as 3x the points.
This will be updated once a month within 2 weeks of a UQ Smash event ending.

Haha, yay for single sample sizes!
Might I suggest a decay variable? Basically, a more recent win should be worth more than a less recent one. So if someone made 1st in the first tournament and never again, and then someone made first in the most recent one, they shouldn't be ranked the same. It doesn't have to be huge, it can be like .98 or something, just for a more nuanced gradient.
It would work like this:
tournamentPoints = 10
tournamentAge (1 being most recent) = 3
weightedPoints = tournamentPoints * 0.98^(tournamentAge-1)

Or just keep to season results. The end of season rankings will have a cut off for the prizes, but anyone below that cut off will still be published. Elo's will still be used for seeding however. Would Like to remind everyone that this will receive an update at the after UQ this month, who will receive points this time around? Has been updated for UQ 16, Wii U Results. 1 week till this changes who will join? 49 people now on the Wii U Side, the UQ Power rankings for season 2 have now been updated with anyone on the above list that fall in the top 10 rankings

4 events in and the top 9 are now all sitting on different points. Now with 54 Players who have placed 1st or 2nd in pools/1st/2nd/3rd in Pro Bracket.

Im currently typing up the updates to the Melee List :) Melee Info now added to the description :) Results from UQ 19 have now affected the Leaderboard, the melee results will be posted shortly.
