Don't know if this is supposed to be a bug or a feature, but it seems this site automatically adds "http://" to any social media URLs, so if people add a URL that begins with "https://" it ends up as "http://https//" and goes nowhere. Kind of odd though that this wasn't happening a few days ago.

Actually I just fixed it for my YouTube URL by removing the "http://" so I think this site might be adding the "http://" retroactively to some URLs. Might check again Thursday.

The SA Smash 4 PR seems to have reverted to the older version (1 not 2), such that it's incorrectly displaying on peoples' competitive profiles.

Scrail you're right there was some weird stuff happening with the validation of some of the social URLs. I went through them and tried to fix them and it should be better now. Thanks for reporting this, I thought I had fixed most of them.

Pyren I'll have to look into that. I've found an issue with the Power Rankings which is related to an optimisation I did previously for it. Power Rankings are still a little slow and there's another thing I need to fix for them, so to save doing work which has to be undone I'm going to leave this issue for a little bit and push a fix for both issues up hopefully this week. I can see that the oldest PR someone has belonged to is showing on their profile instead of the current one and that's just wrong.

The other issue with the Power Rankings is that you can't have two PRs in the same region for the same game - once I fix this it should also fix the issue issue above and as a bonus make PRs slightly faster site wide. Power Rankings issue on player page should now be fixed. The data structure has changed for PRs now slightly but this should affect the front end too much and only be visible to admin in the back end.

There is still a bit more work to be done to allow for multiple PRs of a game within a region but that has now moved a bit closer to being complete too. The Power Rankings issues should now be fixed completely. Note how on Jaice's profile now that it shows his UQ PR and QLD Brisbane PR separately

I have a weird bug on the mobile version of the website with shoutouts. Whenever I go to type a shoutout on my phone, i can get the first word out, but the other words I type appear letter by letter, but vanish once the word is autocompleted. It might be a weird interaction with my phone in particular, but qldsmash (particularly the shoutouts submission form) is the only place i've encountered the bug on my device (Samsung Galaxy S3).

My name was entered incorrectly on some data which I requested to be fixed and it was. Now I'm trying to update the character info for this data and I'm getting 'object refrence not set to an instance of an object' errors. Individual match data seems OK to record but result data is giving me the error message.

Not sure if it's a bug entirely, but in this drop down list, "Edit Social Data" is the only one you can't right click and open in a new window, at least for me.

Bunch of new things with the latest update so I'll list them here.

* massive amount of website optimisations have been implemented which mainly focussed on the online page - my benchmarking for the online page seems to show the average page load down from 2.57 seconds to 1.64 seconds which is nearly a whole second shaved off - getting closer to under 1 second average
* All admins will have to logout and login again to get access to the admin panel again - this was done for performance reasons, and you will have a nice surprise when you login
* admin can now edit the match score of uploaded results in the admin panel (eg, this match should be 2-1 not 2-0)
* elo results which have 0 points awarded (eg: Jaice beats first timer) will now show correctly as a loss for the loser
* for the who's online feature, if you set to be online for ten minutes, it would not remove your profile from the online list unless you refreshed the page - now it should fade away in time
* there was a bug with banned users whereby they could still post which never really came up because nobody needed to be banned and when I tried to ban boozer he could still post and it made Aero upset - this bug has been fixed and boozer has now been banned.

I was never able to get to the bottom of this so I tried a different approach based on my assumption that it had something to do with the JavaScript which was enforcing the character limit. Now you can submit a shoutout that's as long as you want, but it won't go through unless you trim it down to the correct amount of characters. This should also help when pasting in links which get shortened.

So, maybe a bug or intentional, but when you switch to QLD only, Aero is listed as 2nd and Jezmo and Jaice are tied for 1st. I don't have qualms with that, but looks like a bug?

It was a glitch with the ELO's this week, Jezmo and Aero were set to NZ when the calculations happens so until the calculations happen again this will stay this way.
