I've played them a bit.
There's a lot of stuff you can do with the soccer ball move. You can drop it and not head-but it, and then hit it with another attack, and then move with the ball (sort of like Villager running with his gyroid).

Soccer ball and sun salutation are great projectiles. I usually use the soccer ball a lot, especially when i am off stage. It's also good at messing up people in the air. It's also a great spike move when you can land it (I've only done it once).

I've seem to have kind of got around their range issue and wii fit has become a decent character. She's not top tier or anywhere near it, but she has a lot of potential. Personally I think her edgeguarding is amazing.
Salute the buffs!

What are Wii Fit's worst match ups? I seem to be having trouble with Shulk and Robin right now.

For me
Ness is difficult because it feels like trades with everything + you have to be conscious of down b
Robin is difficult because they can outcamp you and sometimes it feels like you can do little about it. However definitely a winnable MU if you pick the right stage and get the upper hand quickly.
Fox has really good mobility and his usmash means he is definitely a threat. Feels like he can be a pain to kill sometimes.
Sheik because Wii fit trainer has very little "get off me" moves however sheik can't kill well and rage is dumb so some surprise kills can be made.

Mainly I struggle with ness and fox

EDIT: Oh and Diddy with banana trading with uncharged sun salutation (idk might be guessing here but I feel like it has happened) can be annoying.
