Times are tough in the Brisbane scene, and yet Queensland persists nonetheless.

With the imminent death of yet another local series, joining a long and storied line of dead local series, our intrepid protagonist - Coco, of Cloom/Coconya fame - faces her most harrowing quest yet: asking people for their opinions.

And she's done just that.

In this two-question Queenslander deep-dive, our lackadaisical hero (who does NOT play Hero, that's the job of The Aioli Gamer) has uncovered the true deep feelings of our lovely local scene on its most heated topic - how DO you all feel about Off The Rails?

Question One: What are your thoughts on Off The Rails now that we're coming up to the last one (in this venue)?


Cloom | Smay: “OtR gave me everything I could have wanted out of playing and helping run it, wouldn’t be playing Rivals without it and I value that a lot“

Benedict: "Sometimes to gas myself up I count going to the library for OtR as reading a book"

Cloom | BrainPower: “I beat a duck hunt player from Sydney in that venue once. Also, I saw The Aioli Gamer using kamikaze”

Cloom | Coconya: “I dislike it personally, but I have a cool idea that’d really make the local go viral - so it's in a library right? Which is like where they keep at least 4 books in a room right? So what if we changed the name to like Smash by the Bo- what do you mean that's already taken”

As we can see, the local scene will be absolutely devastated by the loss of the single best Library-based local run by 4 guys and 1 transsexual woman that got its roots from a queer charity fundraiser to ever come out of Brisbane, a VERY competitive category - but that's not the juicy tea i know you all clicked on this article for.
