Just a question but what button do you all use for jump? I've been using tap to jump this whole time but it's time to break the habit.

On a GameCube controller I use either Y or tap jump depending on the situation (tap jump if I need the c-stick straight away or Y if I need to empty short-hop or to do a full jump).

I use L for jump haha, but I use a pro controller. I also use Y for grab, tilt stick, tap jump off. Safe to say if I don't select my name I'm screwed.

I use Y in every Smash game aside from 64, and the only time I use anything else is for certain techniques in melee.
But yeah, don't use tap jump for most of your jumping. Not precise enough.
