I know this is probably a logical fallacy of some kind but the fact that he’s claiming role blocker instead of doctor makes his claim seem slightly more believable. Claiming doctor would have made the real doctor, assuming they exist, consider counter claiming. This gives maf another piece of information.

It's a bit of a rough situation since we only have 10 hours left. It's likely that if battledolphin is town then Maribro is mafia and visa versa. I still think it's safer to Lynch battledolphin today but we still need to think it through so that we're making the best decision.

Applying Occham’s Razor, I think it’s more likely that the doc got lucky than asa deciding to put a town alligned role blocker in the game. Also, as you yourself brought up BD, you mentioned that you thought there would be very few power roles. If you really were a town alligned role blocker, why would you mention this? As I said earlier, at the start of the game I thought I was getting ultra memed on and that there were only vanilla townies in the game so a roleblocker would be literally useless

I then realised that it still wouldn't be useless because roleblockers block the kill so I never brought up there being no roles again lol

Yes it was definitely stupid to think that, as I've already stated I'm thinking that I'm the replacement for detective maybe? Like just a slightly worse detective that receives vague (and not 100% guaranteed if there is a doc?) results in the form of no night kill?

What do we think the chances are of there being both a roleblocker and a doctor? Like, if Maribro flips town, does that mean BD is 100% lying? (Assuming the mafia didn't no-kill)

I think the problem with our current situation is that we need at least 2-3 pieces of information to get the full story of what's going on and lynching either Maribro or BD only gives us one.

I don't think the ice cream flavors have anything to do with roles in this game. But it seems unlikely that we would have "Rum Raisin" and "Rum & Raisin" in the same game. If we were both Rum Raisin I could understand.
