Timic is a Shulk player. I think he beat Sarah at the invitational but I don't know anything other than that. Shaz is an old Melee veteran and Star's one of the Sydney Project M players - I don't know how much either of these guys play the game. Don't know of the others.

I played doubles matches with ViVa against Jei and Khoa until 4am last night. I will tell you the basic strategies:
ViVa plays Little Mac, Marth or Mario and gets ganged up on.
If I am Robin I stand back and charge Thoron, shoot it and hopefully hit everyone at once but usually only hit ViVa.
If I am PAC-MAN I make a nuisance of myself by putting Fire Hydrants and Trampolines everywhere but not actually achieving anything except hitting ViVa, while I try to charge my Bonus Fruit to get the key and then throw it to hopefully hit everyone but usually only hit ViVa.
If I am R.O.B. I get hit a lot and then shoot lasers at ViVa.

If you can replicate this strategy then I think we will be successful.

The doubles explanation of that night was spot on.
Your side of the doubles pools is stupidly easy. I think they see Vs name and instantly assume "top team". My side has the top 3 teams from last tournament. Tibs/attila, jei/khoa and ledge/toshi. And some other good teams also.

I guess you, Attila and Ledge all have singles pools in the 2pm-4pm timeslot so there wasn't much PCG could do without switching those around some more. Dekar won Melee and Project M.
