While supporting a townie to then kill the subsequent night would be a good play by mafia, it's also a somewhat obvious one, so there's little effectiveness, and frankly no reason to do so.
If I was mafia would it not be smarter to just stay of it and then kill CubT, making maribro looking suspicious? Then there'd be no link to me and would be out of suspicion altogether.
It was a smarter play killing CubT, because the point you raised can still be used against me.
However, if they killed me, there would be no way to make CubT out to be suss, as he was the one being defended by Town.
More damage could be done by taking out CubT than taking out me.
If Maribro was town, it would've been a better play to kill him, because it'd paint CubT and I was suss. But of course, because Maribro is mafia and CubT & I are town, that did not happen.

I've said I'm town multiple times to clarrify the positions of each player in the different scenarios to clarrify who is who (such as hypotheticals if i was mafia and you were town in the post above) and when I'm specifically talking about how it is.

you both raise really good points but honestly at this rate i dont think anyone is gonna vote both of you cos people seem to have their own opinions of each of you already. theres 4 possibilities in this situation:
1. Maribro is town, MrL is maf
2. MrL is town, Maribro is Maf
3. You're both town
4. You're both maf.
now, option 4 doesnt make much sense, so we can probably cross that out.
not to turn the attention completely away from both of you but we have a lot of information on both of you and theres still players that are *rather* inactive and really only posting once a day which is kind of not cool. plus lachlanf who just posts gears and lemons constantly.

After hearing Lachlan, BattleDolphin and Spacejam I'm thinking it's increasingly likely we're both town. However, we should still be cautious.

I feel like calling me out for being slack is a bit harsh. I've contributed way more than the others you listed.
I don't really know how to respond to the extreme text walls over the last two pages. You both seem town to me and both are able to bring up good points.
Something I've been wondering about though is Franco being a firefighter. As far as I can tell no one has died to fire at night yet. Are there any thoughts on this? It would be pretty pointless to have a fire fighter if an Arsonist was a one shot type, so I'm guessing they're a serial killer type? However they don't seem to have killed anyone yet.
I don't know if this will help us work out any Mafia members or anything but I was just wondering about it was all.

I'm not gonna respond to your other points for now because there's been a shift in discussion.
Next on my line of suspicion is LachlanF… He played very similarly to this in the Smashbox game. He hasn't provided anything in any of his posts… I'd advocate a policy lynch but it's too late for that now. I feel like he should try and at the very least help town out though.

The problem I'm having at the moment as well is I just don't have enough information to go on to make a call on anybody.
I suppose if there are only 3 mafia left (assuming Mr L is correct on the number) then we can afford three more mislynches before the game is over right?
Assuming a mislynch happens every time and the mafia get a night kill each night:
Day 4 - 8 town 3 maf (6 votes to lynch, 27.27 percent chance to hit maf)
Day 5 - 6 town 3 maf (5 to lynch, 33.3 percent chance to hit maf)
Day 6 - 4 town 3 maf (4 to lynch, 42.9 percent chance to hit maf)
So if the mafia survive until night 6 and hit an NK each night then they win. This does not allow for serial killer kills, night protections, hitting maf, etc
These are the sorts of things I'm thinking about when not posting but I don't feel like it really adds any benefit to working out who the mafia are.

I think LachlanF is where we should start, Maribro noted he has been behaving like when he was in the Smashbox game. Regardless we should be able to get through all three before the day ends and hopefully give us some insight (unless they stall :( that would suck)

Personally I would've gone with LachlanF, as Wooy and Maribro pointed out he's been playing like he was in Smashbox, plus I'm just getting a scummy vibe from him.

Although at the same time, voting Lachlan will a) motivate him to talk b) get him to explain his actions (voting for battledolphin, why he thinks who is what) and if he does neither A or B, then we can lynch him.

How to stop argument 101 both Maribro and MRL are town aligned. Figure out how I know that later.
Internal arguments between town are not fun, we just need to focus on the mafia and who they are. So using my same logic BattleDolphin is keeping that vote.

Why do you think they're suspicious? Or what do you think makes them suspicious?
Personally I think Haiku is actually town but just not active a lot. When he does post he doesn't give me any negative vibes and seems to try to help.
Hydro on the other hand I agree is suspicious. He's not doing a lot and when he does post it seems a little disingenuous to me, or at least that's the feeling I get. Plus he defended himself over voting to have cAKE lynched when in reality he didn't even vote for him in the first place. This makes me suspect him further since over defensiveness is possibly a sign of being mafia.
