It was something I was planning to check eventually, as I wasn't sure on why it doesn't snap to the edge sometimes and it just goes passed it. You can sweet spot land on the ledge instead of grabbing it. I imagine not many people have a better understanding of it than I do atm.

I always did it accidentally when I get into the habit of fast falling near the ledge to try and get back as quickly as possible but instead just fall off because I missed the edge.

I can perfect pivot now, something clicked for me today.
Not 100% perfect execution, but extremely significant enough, and will def increase.

The one frame faster perfect pivot doesn't have the smoke, and is a shorter length, btw.

Perfect Pivoting is like the best way to get a sense on the motion of frames.
Like, people know there is 60 FPS, but they don't really know how fast 1 frame is in the moment.

Thanks to vyeRa, for being my biggest influence in game and to talk about with perfect pivoting.

As always peeps, - don't forget about this- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jtMBrKq_iCE 'Edge Sliding'

Is there any advice u can give in making this easier to pull off. Or is it just practice and practice and more practice the only advice to make it easier?

Yeah just practice it while in training room, and every now and than. then after a month or so it may just click for yo to how to do it. You sort of learn methods on how NOT to do it.
Try standing still and simply changing the way you are facing very fast. and also moving the joystick enough in a fast manner to walk just a tiny bit.
Check out footage of peoples fingers in action whilst Perfect Pivoting, and the sound of it.
These helped me.

No. Any good player knows about this mechanic. It's been around since 64.

So actually, yes, plenty of people have a better understanding of it.

Like me.

Highly doubt it's better than mine. It's a simple concept to understand. Maybe that is what you are referring to. I'm referring to the higher stuff about it; such as applying it and using it and all, as I mentioned previously on how I use it.
It's like an extra option to the standard options of if you were to hang on the ledge..
I've asked many people about it, and they didn't know about it. I see Shitashi Vs Jezmo (in their latest tourney), and Shitashi doesn't do it once when he had many opportunities. Seems he doesn't REALLY have it flowing through his play, which is the important part.
Anyways you'll understand clearly if we verse again.

Using it with diddy kong is mostly unwise, unless the ledge is clear. G&W up B is so great that I use it heaps now, due to the parachute hit box + can switch to an aerial.

I'm pretty sure you can know whatever you want about PPing, wavedashing or literally anything else and you can even know and apply it in a match perfectly.

It doesn't matter a bit though.

At the end of the day all that matters is results.

Don't even need to apply astrophysics.
Well said Pac-bro. the part where Jezmo, Shitashi I happen to excel in.

Falco's illusion has been buffed (I call it fixed) has a hit box pretty much all the way through now. if u did it grounded pre patch u would get the hit box mostly all the way. While in the air it lacked a hit box in a big chunk at the end. That is why i call it a fix :P

Also apparently his Fsmash is faster. In the beginning it looked the same but, i guess it seems faster?? could be a placebo effect since i was told.

Rather than pushing, it kinda feels like youre being teleported to the edge of the stage. feels really janky. (lylat cruise)

That happened in a lot of stages actually before the patch.

New perfect pivoting: http://www.reddit.com/r/smashbros/comments/32rxnu/easy_pivoting_discovery/

If you're doing an an uptilt or down tilt for example, and you know it is going to hit or it does hit, claw A+B during the remaining animation, and then you can follow up with a perfectpivot attack.
If you don't want to claw it and hence do it comfortably it seems you have to sacrifice L and R for attack and special. and move shield to X. This is my new controls.
