Real answer: apparently it was too hard to make. Mods are supposed to get people to stop swearing but none of us really care tbh.
With ten players alive, it takes six to lynch!

i think jlo's assessment of lef is a pretty good one and he should be considered a target for lynching on day 1. with that said, jlo was the first person to get called out in this thread and he's now deflected attention away from himself twice, so i'm actually more suspicious of him now then when i randomly targeted him at the start (sorry bud, gotta start somewhere and you've acted considerably shiftier than cake has after being targeted in the same post)
@cake wow rude don't call me stupid
Incorrect, LEF was the first one to get called out. By me.
By voting for him I managed to get a reaction out of him, which is vote, and from his vote we can discern his character. I'm trying to chase him down in order to further discern his scumminess (that is a word now because I said so), and his silence so far isn't helping his case. What followed afterwards is everyone else calling me out for me calling him out, so your accusations look as baseless as mine at first glance, but I've explained my stance so you're the once left with baseless claims.
But until the two other players who haven't cast their vote do so, we don't have much to go on.

Something for the shits and giggles. Let vote to lynch our god. Then if we do, we won't believe in him no more, meaning the god a.k.a moderator Dean cannot kill us and select what happens, then we all win :)

Deez officially added to the easy lynch list

Haha lmao. I'm just trying to break the angst among us.

deez is bad town (at best, his posts are a little bit scummy) and should be lynched if we don't get any super solid mafia reads before the end of the first day. actually that might be a bit harsh, he's contributing which is a start so i'll retract that statement, i just think he could be a little more constructive with his posts

Yeah fair enough Pazx. Just trying to lighten the mood I guess. But hey, think about it this way, my comments have brought up other comments by people trying to to blame onto me and to get suspicion off of them. That was purely by accident but I'm now suspicious of a couple of people. But I'll try and be more constructive next time :)

Look at this stage its best to look at people who are quick to point there finger at people in order to keep suspicion off them and while Paxz has framed himself with the "I don't care if I die" mentality we should not drop our suspicions of him as one of the mafia because he's making himself out to be an easy lynch. Where in a period now where first impressions are key to understanding where a person is coming from and where there allegiances are so keep note of what people are saying.

I don't see the point in killing people before the first day. If we kill someone who is a townie then we automatically end up in the backseat as the mafia then kill someone again tonight. We go from 10-8 without learning anything and I don't think that's smart play
01/26/2016 10:26:19

Removing the threat of a lynching from the first day may sounds like a smart play at first but you have to realise that by doing that the mafia can sit back and play very defensively (i.e blending, not saying much constructive) without the threat of them being killed while still obviously have the power to kill someone in the town. By having that threat there the mafia will have to communicate effectively and gain trust giving the town more time to see mistakes. But as I said its a long day cycle we as a group of 10 players just need to see what people are saying and as I said first impressions mean everything.

what do we gain from shooting the breeze for two weeks before one of us is killed? i'm not advocating for a lynching right away, but we're not going to have any more information (aside from "oh, he was a townie") at the start of day 2 in comparison with the end of day 1 if we decide not to do anything, all it does is put us 1 kill behind the mafia.
the only thing we have as vanilla townies is our vote and our words, it's highly likely that somebody is gonna be lynched so we might as well make it the right person.
barry seems town, although the lack of any sort of commitment is worrying
01/26/2016 10:45:20
I agree with Pazx. We may as well lynch someone one the first day, bc if we just sit back until night then that puts us behind the Mafia.
Barry seems town I guess, he just seems to know a lot about the game.

i should ask again, who's played this game before, where/when/etc?
there's a difference between inexperienced behaviour and anti-town behaviour but it's hard to discern without this knowledge

Literally the first thing you said was to lynch me and lef said that as well, besides that, you hardly commented on anything, so now you comment just to make yourself part of the group instead of trying to kill me, ha? Suspicious much

I played Werewolves a couple of times, which is very similar just with a different setting. I also played it irl instead of online

I have commented on a lot of stuff Deez tyvm and I didn't rly understand the game at first so I just voted for someone. Also you tend to be playing detective a lot of the time to maybe cover yourself up...?
01/26/2016 11:46:26
01/26/2016 11:46:26
Ive played Mafia a lot with my friends, irl of course with around the same number of people here. So the reason I seems so disconnected and not committed is because I've seen the first day cycle many many times, so you generally see the same personalities emerge which means that I know someone in the mafia is currently trying really hard to show there innocent or there not talking much at all. To be honest Deez definitely note worthy behaviour by cake, but it could also just be that he hasn't played the game before and was trying to move the game along as he said, however it is definitely suspicious behaviour.

played mafia a few times before irl with friends, groups are around this size and yeah i agree, most people here including me just want to move the game along
01/26/2016 12:25:25
01/26/2016 12:25:25
those who haven't yet voted are in a position where they can move the game along quite well
