So i was playing the demo as megaman against mario and the rudest thing happened

I was on the edge and dropped down and did an uair. he used his cape and the tornado pushed me down and i died with hardly any damage.

won't be doing that against chars with reflectors

For the record, I LAG and I have agreed to do a grudge match with me as Megaman and him and Villager because in our demo tier lists we did we had either Megaman or Villager first or last.

Anyone who puts megaman at the bottom of a tier list deserves to get punished

I've been pondering his specials for so long it's incredible.

The Shadow Blade could pull them into a follow up of some kind...? Hyper Bomb is probably better.
Also the Skull Barrier has way too much startup to be a reliable reflector. Damn, none of the shields really look good.

I pretty much have been using the leaf shield to allow me to reset my horizontal spacing after i've been launched very high vertically, so that long startup time doesn't bother me. it's too unsafe to use near anyone in case you fall off a ledge, so it's just nice to have so I don't have to worry about things like pikachu's jolts when i'm running away.

megaman it seems can't approach from above like maybe fox or peach can

People have been discussing whether there is a difference between omega stages and ive been saying there is.

Megaman always prefers stage with walls like Dr Wilys Castle or Boxing ring because this wouldn't happen on regular FD.

Nowhere to hide from that aura sphere. WHY DOESNT MEGAMAN HAVE A CHARGE PROJECTILE Hmmmm Dean this Megaman relies heavily on metal blade which I don't use and doesn't even use blaster but he's really agro and can recover well and use leaf shield properly.

So this guy has written a great leaf shield guide for all the Deans out there that just don't understand what the move is for.

Basically he nailed it. It's not an offensive move - but rather a defensive one. Generally it's best to cover the lag after you land from using upB, and it never hurts to have active hitboxes when you're airdoging or rolling so it's used for that.

Not sure what he means about the skull barrier not reflecting some projectiles, it's done all of them for me. I noticed that as soon as you throw it, it doesn't reflect any more, so maybe that's what happened to the guy during testing. Or I'm just wrong :/

Starting to like Metal Blade again - it's really good long range. Default Megaman is gooooood.
