long sword was fine from what i played tbh, you cant refresh red bar but it lasts a really long time which means whether you keep it or not isn't like, 100% determined by monster behaviour l0l

Is Monster Hunter a Wii U game? Is it a good game? I haven't even put any thought into getting anything else besides for Hyrule warriors and Zelda Wii U when it comes out.

I couldn't get into Monster Hunter, even playing around with the new demo left a lot to be desired for me. I went back to it and tried a few other weapons, and I enjoyed it a lot more. It really changes the feel of the game. It also helps that I now realise that attacking is more of a tactical decision. You have to be sure that you will have enough time to execute the whole attack without the monster moving or interrupting you. I can't see myself getting too into it solo though, but the multiplayer looks like a blast.
