Been camping the website for this and still no word about when it will open. I wonder if it'll be a before or after the Wii U release thing.

Also hearing Toronto Joe got invited by Nintendo Canada to play Smash Wii U makes me disappoint that Nintendo AU didn't invite some names of this site to play the game early. It took me three minutes after finding out to turn on my computer and load the Super Smash Club page and by then it had hit the 50 person limit. WHEN DID THIS GO ONLINE??? HOW DID THIS HAPPEN?????

I checked the site about 4 hours ago, and it wasn't up. must of been up about 2-4 hours ago. Registrations are now closed as the limit of 50 Super Smash Club registrations has been reached.

I actually hope they do, and it lags ALOT so Nintendo will rethink about they did and will hopefully ACTUALLY fix it. Like... super good.

they have to take a photo of the club (minimum 10 people) holding a sign of their club name, and has to have at least 4 3ds consoles in the photo. Each person has a form or something to fill out as well.

SO it is a IRL thing. I find it hard to believe that 50 clubs already registered. Registering was easy, it was just simple things, paper work for the club members and stuff can be done later. But still, there could very well be a glitch in their website/system.

It's easy to believe that 50 clubs have registered that quickly but hard to believe that each of those clubs know at least ten people that play Smash imo.....

Had my cry to Nintendo this morning and understandably they didn't really seem to care much. If anything changes they're gonna announce it on their Twitter / Facebook so I guess I just need to keep camping the Twitter feed and pray. If anybody notices anything there and lets me know straight away that would be majestic.

This has reopened - this time to 250 clubs instead of 50 WOOOT!

I was in a rush so the name of the club is simply 'QLD Smash'.

Super Smash Club tournament will be held at the UQ tournament this weekend! Prizes include the officially announced Nintendo prizes as well as a Pikachu Amiibo donated by the TO which will randomly be awarded to an entrant in the bracket regardless of where they place.

Had a lot of fun today. Was good to see some people from the previous UQ event, some people who had never come before as well some more people who were at Karnu's Sunny Coast meet. A few people from before have gotten better like Tael and I hear Arby. Also Jyoshi came out of nowhere and beat me and Aero to take second.

Was also fun seeing Melee players at the bus stop and helping them plug their CRT TV in to get games before the bus came.
