Most likely it can, but the issue is that it can either put town at an advantage or a disadvantage depending on how things play out.

Basically yeah. I also feel that just taking my vote off you is going back to the issues we've had on every day of this game where people get voted for, they make a lengthy post, everyone unvotes, repeat for 2 weeks.

Jlo it would be in your best interest to share the information you have if it will benefit the town. Since you are hiding it when we probably still do have a Doctor (I wouldn't be surprised if someone was Nurse Joy/ Chansey) or protective role. It makes it look like:
1. You don't trust the town as of yet.
2. You are afraid of being killed.
3. You are lying and the "information" you have is fake or,
4. it's something that cannot be proven.
5. Your information is not very helpful at all.
To me all those options point you out as suspicious except for the second one. Also saying you have information in general and not sharing it is suspicious in itself. I came out immediately and got the SK killed with Bijou's help. Perhaps your information can help another town role.

Alrighty then, I guess it comes down to this. Before I reveal what I know, let me just state the following for the record:
I was adamantly against a mass roleclaim because I believe that I was a prime target for Mafia if my role was to be revealed. I was especially adamant when it was revealed that there is a vanillaiser in the game, since that is a role that can bypass protection roles. This is important.
I also seemed to "hold back" because I did not want to bring attention towards myself as much as possible. In my current predicament, I feel it is better for me to be seen as a bit suss than overly pro-town. However, this has backfired and I am now seen as overly suss.
And yes Lumi, #2 is correct, I don't want to die.
With those said, I will now reveal that I am a Town-Aligned Cop. Basically I can investigate someone each night, and I can discover their alignment. Three results are possible; pro-town, anti-town or no result if I get roleblocked. It's Luminescent's investigative ability minus the x-shot limitation.
I investigated three different people over the course of the game. Here are the results:
Night 1: I investigated Ghostbone and the results say that he is pro-town. That's why I mistakenly left him out of the non-confirmed townies; it was a slip-up on my part.
Night 2: I investigated Invisi. We all know what happened on day 2; Bijou bus drivered Invisi and Dean, so I got Dean's result as anti-town. Some of you might think this is too convenient and that there is foul play involved, but the exact same scenario happened to me during the Smashbox game when CubT and I investigated the same person. It's not unlikely to happen.
Night 3: Here's the info that I was hesitating to reveal. I investigated Windkeeper and the results come back... as anti-town. Unless there's some convoluted game set-up which screws up this result, he's most definitely scum.
As I reveal my role, I'm afraid that this is the last time that I am able to use my power, since due to the power of my role, I am the next most likely target for the Mafia. With Bijou's role gone, not even a protective role can save me since a vanillaiser can neutralise my power role. Now you can understand why I was initially hesitant to come out, since the Mafia have all they need to take me out. I surmise that there may also be a roleblocker in play here, not impossible with the amount of town power roles running around. I don't expect to live past tonight nor have my powers, so I hope you make this count.
If you still think I'm lying, you can always lynch me, since I don't expect to live to the next day anyways. If (when) I end up flipping town, you'll realise that I was telling the truth and you'll know what to do from there on.

Supposed Duon used Jailkeeper on Ghost night 1, so I guess jailing doesn't stop investigation roles from working or anything.
To be honest if Jlo is saying Windkeeper is antitown we should lynch him today. If he comes up town then Jlo is lying and we can lynch him the day after lol.
Revealing you are cop won't get you killed immediately at least as we know town have a few protective roles. If anything you might get vanillaised like me, but you will still get one more night of investigation if you do.

If you look through my investigation list, you can see the pattern that I was targetting players who are seemingly pro-town, but not as vocal during the day phase. Invisi struck me as someone who seemed to be hiding something, but it was going to be hard to build a case against him due to his relative inactivity. I also have this far-fetched theory that him and Hydro are in cahoots; they want town to think they are antagonistic against each other, but it's actually a cover-up to draw away attention from each other. Take that as you will.

I am inclined to believe you Jlo As Bijou said, If Windkeeper is town you will just get lynched the next day.
My thought process with Invisi was quite similar. I had no other leads really and I kind of also wanted to try and see if I could confirm myself as a Townie. Invisi just seemed quite inactive and was a person no one was really putting any attention on at the time.

No, the mind game would be that (hypothetically) BOTH Jlo and Wind are mafia. When Wind flips mafia, everyone will consider Jlo as town from then on.
But Jlo is probably town at this point.
Mass roleclaim after this day probably wouldn't be the worst of plays either if we have hit 2/? mafia and the SK. I'm guessing there will be 4 mafia based on the number of players at the start of the game.

I will also add. Ghostbone may have appeared as pro-town, but the possibility of Godfather is there. Godfathers are immune to Cop investigations and come up as pro-town. Not saying he is, just that it's possible.

That's a possibility worth considering, but the only way to out him at that point is to pressure him. Unless he's high on a lot of people's scum list, it'll be better to redirect the town's effort on more suss townies.
