I struggle to believe that a mafia would have the bookie role, it seems so dumb compared to the other mafia roles, especially if they can just guess night kills because the mafia makes them.

So with the way i see it now we have a couple of possibilities
-Hydro and I both have a similar role being bookies and are both town with different benefits for betting correctly. Hydro would have to get stronger abilities since he can only guess day kills
-I've been lying about my role and Hydro is telling the truth. I know this one isn't correct but if you guys don't believe me (understandable) then it's there.
-Hydro is mafia and I'm town, same role. It would explain the difference in rules for our roles, seeing as I'm able to guess a night or day kill while Hydro can only guess a day kill as "it would be too good". That would make sense if Hydro is mafia, as mafia controls the night kills. However a play like this would be risky if my claim turned out to be true.
-We're both mafia and Hydro is throwing me under the bus to seem more town like. I know this isn't true but thinking as a spectator it doesn't seem very likely.
-Hydro was just memeing to counter how much of a meme my role is.
This isn't going to chance much but I thought I might as well type it up.

Protective roles being who? Dean? JLo won't be able to investigate if that's the case and no other protective roles are confirmed at this stage (DO NOT COME FORWARD IF YOU ARE ONE). As basically everyone else still alive has a story they can vouch for/has already been investigated. The last two have made claims but don't really have anything substantial behind them.

I know dean is jailor, I just meant if there were any other protective roles in the game.(that we obviously don't know of yet if they exist.)

Come to think of it, this would actually make a lot of sense if Hydro was mafia based on the rules he told us. A mafia bookie who could 'bet' on night kills would be broken (however I note that normally a bookie can only bet on day phase anyway).
However the interesting thing to note is that Hydro said he receives a random power for correctly getting his bookie pick right. Obviously if he was mafia then getting a kill shot would be stupid because mafia can already kill at night.
As such Hydro is actually more likely to be mafia than Windkeeper (assuming he's not lying about his role).

On page 38 I made an updated version of Maribro's suss list. At the end I typed up the 4 people at the top of the list. Two remain that haven't claimed. Those two people are cjeccjec and ThatLaggyPerson. The next two after that was Spacejam and Extra, so I recommend that JLo uses his investigate on one of those four. Also, I want to hear what Hydro has to say about the above posts.

Honestly, I'm torn. I actually believe both Jlo's and Windkeeper's claims and I haven't seen Windkeeper playing suspiciously. His defense is very honest and I can't tell if he is making a last ditch effort to save himself or caving in because he really has a ridiculous role.

I have more information. It was discussed with the mods that my role shoulda had night kills because i was complaining how shit my power was and that guessing who would get lynched was too hard. I suggested i should be able to get given the ability to guess at night and i learned they considered it. Im guessing that they didnt give me the ability to guess at night from the start not because they would also add the exact same role but it also can do that but it is also fake evil but because they just didnt want me to.
I didn't actually look up my role on mafiascum because it was fairly simple to understand. Windkeeper however as mafia probably did look up a uncommon role (never been on qldsmash mafia before) on mafiascum where it said he could guess at day and night and that's why he says he can do that. Then because he was investigated and said to be anti-town he just added the fake evil to the front of his power.
If windkeeper really did gain a benefit from guessing lynches he wouldve been as adamant as me to waiting to kill dean til the next day but windkeeper hammered him so.
People saying if i was mafia i wouldnt be able to guess at night are being dumb. If i was mafia wouldnt i lie about my ability in some way, and i still can get a 1-shot kill probably. When i was complaining how shit my role was I made the joke i will probably get 1 shot vanilla-cop even if i do guess right because it's useless.
I was gonna keep this stuff secret so if i have a 1shot thingy in my back pocket mafia would think i was a threat when in reality i had nothing im going to say what my bookie guesses were.
Night 1 i guessed murkiri to be lynched day 2 because of towns history of lynching inactives. Then he claims a 100% townie so that was shit.
Night 2 i guessed wii fit lumi to be lynched day 3 because he thought i was mafia for a bad reason so i was probably gonna pressure him that day but then he reveals his role and finds a anti-town so that went to shit.

And after what hydro has said i've decided i'm okay with lynching Windkeeper. It's likely after the mass claim talk all the mafia have gone and thought up believable roles. (Windkeeper did say he had this prepared). Bookie miller is pretty crazy.
Not sure how he could have pulled this role out of his ass but we'll see.

This is probably why I subconsciously believe this claim. If you had simply claimed mafia, that makes it easier for other mafia roles to simply vote for you draining any suspicion of them for voting on you (in the case that you are mafia).
You are also not denying the claim that Jlo is a cop, who already had suspicion thrown on him.
Like I said, it's a very honest claim and I believe you. If I'm wrong oh well, maybe we can see (without my vote on Windkeeper) if we can learn more from the voting patterns if he does pop up as mafia.

Can we not have dead players trying to bring the mood of the game down? I for one am enjoying this game immensely.
Probably has something to do with the fact that I'm contributing instead of complaining. But yeah against my better judgement I actually think Wind's claim seems to be pretty truthful.

Why is everyone believing Windkeeper? His claim just seems totally ridiculous to me. Having been mafia with him previously, I know he's a very strong player, and I don't put it past him to play the quiet game (which is his usual strategy) and then later come up with some "believable" claim when he's investigated. I'm still adamant that he is our safest lynch today.
I still have no idea what to make of Hydro, I feel like he's intentionally making things unnecessarily complicated - a play which reeks of scum. But maybe he's just meming, which I wouldn't put past him either. Or maybe both? I dunno, deal with him once Windkeeper is out of the way imo.
PS. I'm currently listed as voting for both Windkeeper and JLo which is an obviously an error. My most recent vote was for Windkeeper, mods pls fix.
