currently for tournament results you have things like W1 up to W100 or however many when displaying the matches that happened. is it possible to change this into when it actually happened in the bracket, e.g. W1-16 (depending on size of bracket) become 'Winners R1' or something?

I've updated the way the match numbers display so that they use the round number now. I want to keep the text to a minimum so that the table displays nicely on an iPhone so I think maybe 'Winners' should be fine to stay as W etc.
This was a good suggestion and it already makes the data more meaningful imo. You can now see a bit more easily who got byes round one.

hmmmm it was a pretty big job simply making the original 50 or so icons, adding another 350 or so will not only take a lot of time but also require changes to how the database is structured is a lot of places.
This is a good idea, but will require a LOT of time to implement, so I might keep this on my never ending todo list. I've overhauled how the auto refresh of both shoutouts and forum threads work because they were hammering the database with a method known as long polling. The new method should now be not only more efficient but faster - to see have two different browser windows open on the online page and post something and see it appear quickly in the other window.
The wifi thread has also been implemented as a chat interface on the online page. Posts made in the wifi thread should appear automatically at the bottom of the online page.

Perhaps on the "currently online" list, it could show users that have been active in the past 15 minutes. Would just be easier to see if they're active.

I'd like to keep the main to one character. The fact that your main's colour is integrated into the design of the site means it's easier to identify things like oh Red is a Dedede main, oh now Red plays Boozer Jr, oh now Red's gone to higher grounds with ZSS, oh now this week Red's crawling back to Dedede etc. If you want to have multiple mains attached to your name, the best way to do it is to get a competitive profile, go to a tournament and play many different characters like Aero has done here.

There are definitely a lot of benefits to being able to see who is browsing the forums though, so this is a point I'd like to open up for discussion. How would people feel about being able to see who is viewing the website on the online page updated in real time?

For the competitive data, might it be possible to like easily view the tournament history between two players? Although you can kind of do this by going to one person's competitive profile and CTRL+Fing the name of the other dude I guess.
