Rules:
1. Unless your role specifically states otherwise, no communication about the game takes place outside of this thread. This includes both players and non-players.
2. Please Bold any questions to the Mod about the game. For questions about role, please PM.
3. No quoting or partial quoting private communication of any kind,real or fabricated. Paraphrasing is acceptable.
4. Editing posts is not allowed. Double-post if need be.
5. Make your votes clear and easy to see. VOTE: Rhyno is good. You may change your vote, vote for no lynch and unvote as needed.
6. Lynching occurs once a majority has been reached.
7. If no majority has been reached upon the deadline, No Lynch takes place.
8. Once night begins, no posting is allowed in the thread. Posting is allowed during twilight.
9. Dead players are not allowed to post in this thread. If a dead player had a role that let them communicate privately, they are to cease doing that.
10. Character claiming is banned. Characters are included for flavour only.

That's OK it wasn't really directed at you I was just annoyed Aero wasn't reading my posts. If you did come to the same conclusion as I did without reading my post then that would help consolidate our positions anyway.

I suppose this comes down to if we think that it's reasonable to think that:
We're told that we're a Spirit at the start of the game, and are told that Light and Dark can do something to obstruct us from using our power role, and then think that Light = Spirits from this information.

I think that I agree with Bijou that learning more information about your role would be beneficial for us. What is the "A" that Light and Dark can do to counteract your power? It sounds like you have information on both mafia factions but have withheld this information from town so far.

There's also asa's post on the last page that delved into why he thought that JEANS was suspicious even ignoring the whole Light = town thing...

Honestly at this stage I still think the JEANS lynch is the best play.

@Bijou yes I kept it short because I wanted more information + a few other reasons (a bit busy at work + I still wasn't at 100% health), I don't always want to write walls it just kind of happens sometimes.

What i posted before lines up with my story i just posted? can we not act like he EXPOSED anything that I didnt already want you to know? otherwise i wouldnt have said it.

also people arguing for like 8 posts about who made the play and who planned it etc. , is annoying :rage:. could talk about relevant information over it.
do this play gloating in spectator chat once you die or after game chat or whatevers maybe? then also you have the plus advantage of not looking like an arse when you bragged about a play that ended up not even being correct.

to claiming role, I wanna see how more of town responds to what ive already said before I claim my role, that is assuming, nobody lynches me and actually gives me the chance. (lynch them after if they do this)

but i was still confused/wanted clarification so i asked invisi what exactly light/dark was and this is when I learn there's 2 mafia and light is one of them. I just assumed light=spirtis lol and light countering my power meant a townie did it since that could happen.

to me, this means he is either a dual spirit (town) or part of the light mafia.
if we want to go safe and he doesn't reveal role, then we should lynch him.

oh right yeah you cant claim role, just ability.

I feel like the chances that you're making things up is pretty low because that implies your "My role is X and it can do Z but not if either mafia team do A" is something you made up on your own. If you were going to lie about the power you wouldn't make it needlessly complicated.

Your explanation that you saw you were a spirit and assumed that light = spirit is such a shitty defense that I actually think this is likely to actually be true.

I'd start talking about what your power does if I were you JEANS. If you do get lynched and you're town then at least the rest of town can get information from it.

I'd prefer it if he'd tell us more about his power but the longer he waits means the more likely he's stalling for time which would indicate he's lying.

Same.

For me the way he's reacting by being like "imagine gloating when you're wrong" kind of makes me think he's town.

It also seems like he has no supporters at all, pretty much the whole game is against him lol. The two reasons for this would be he's town or his team members are bussing him.

Either way, if he IS town then he's not helping town at all by withholding info and stalling with only a day to go before deadline. The only team this would slightly benefit is a mafia one so...

im doctor smile
and the 'a' that light and dark could both do is kill someone I heal. it says if they both target someone I heal then they die anyway. SO i just read it as if a town has a shot power or whatever then that'd happen lol. but nah then i learnt there was 2 mafia.

also me claiming this means im like most of the time dead tonight! BUT because there's 2 mafia it means that maybe either both kill me and I save someone that way, or they just assume the other one will do it and I live that way heh.

also I wasnt stalling or whatever still have til tomorrow night and that's like as long as it took to get 7 votes on me like 26 hours so I dont see the problem :)

a) you just said you were the DOCTOR; there are only so many ways you can interpret "doctor"
b) No Comment about anything related to what my role is but the rest of my PM (who I am, win condition etc.) is EXTREMELY straightforward so I'm skeptical he's given you some cryptic nonsense that you couldn't interpret as "I target this dude and he doesn't die at night"

c) Key word "or"; you've now changed it to "and" (light AND dark attempt to kill the same player)
d) I asked you yesterday if you were withholding information about the mafia factions from us; if it was as simple as "they both kill the same dude I can't protect them" then instead of saying "no Dean I'm not withholding anything" you ignored it...

e) This would be awful phrasing from Invisi; he'd basically be confirming to you that there are no town-aligned killing roles for no reason! instead using extremely simple phrasing such as "you cannot protect from multiple kill attempts"

And f) If you are a townie in the hotseat on L-2 with the day deadline coming up in 48 hours and you know you're going to be AFK for the next 24 hours you NEED TO ANNOUNCE that you're going to go away for the next 24 hours! so it just seems to be you've stalled / spent time coming up with this claim

I by no means speak on behalf of the entire town but I have no qualms with Blaze or BattleDolphin hammering tonight.

Like in the event Jeans is town it's really unfortunate, but he's stumbled over his words and made himself as suspicious as possible this whole time so I'm also ok with someone hammering him at this stage.
