With the z axis, he was still in the "background" for 21-27, making him still invincible to grabs etc.
Yeah with d3 his spot dodge was
invincible from frames 2-20 but it had lag for 21-27.

and that z-axis stuff will affect almost all spot dodges if it's like brawl (wario and d3 had some fucked z-axis stuff in brawl)
because it's a pain in the arse to test without hitbubble/frame stuff/whatever. I recall that duck hunt has no zaxis because it's a 2D stage

I agree with Emery in his 100% disagreement with Lachlan. Z axis has been around even in older games. Never really cared about it tbh.

I personally would only call it a major if there was both melee and sm4sh present, and people from both scenes travel interstate for it.

@Deez It's weird to ask because the "depth" depends on the object's length and how displaced from z=0 it becomes. So, there's no limit.
Does anyone on qld know the in depth working of the z Axis of smash 4? I asked Aero but he didn't really seemed to know.
