Hey guys, glad to be back for another game of Mafia. Rest assured that I've been following the game ever since the inception of the thread so I'm not that out of the loop as to what is going on. I'll have to do a read through again though, to get a better sense of reads an whatnot.
I currently have a uni assignment due, and I'll be at a locals tomorrow, so my activity throughout tomorrow will be sparse. I'll make sure to post in the thread though so don't worry about me being inactive. Also I'm off to bed (bad timing eh?), so I'll see you guys in the morning

O.K, so if he IS a vanilla townie, hypothetically, what evidence is he meant to offer Mr L to refute his theory? Not really sure how he's meant to prove that.

a townie governor wouldn't have saved you, therefore someone scummy thought it was best for you to be kept alive, and thus you are DEFINITELY a liability and probably not town at all. you can say this is a mafia play to get you lynched but like... what does the mafia get out of us lynching a townie? why didn't they just let it happen last night? you are scum, or the doctor and the mafia is aware that you're the doctor (maybe they tracked on on night one and saw that you protected me or some shit), and if you're the doctor it's about time you claimed.
i'm open to other possibilities but it's not looking good for you my friend.

I don't see why ANY townie would have stopped the lynch on day 2, unless they are shit at mafia and don't understand the game whatsoever, so with that said it's pretty obvious that if there's a town governor it's probably LEF. @Mafia, please kill LEF so I can find out, and we don't have to deal with his posts anymore. Rudeness aside, if no townie wanted to save Maribro it means the Mafia did. It's possible they saved him to draw and block the Vig NK attempt from Longshot, but why not just let Maribro be lynched and then kill Longshot? It's possible the different mafias had different ideas (eg. 1 mafia wanted to roleblock Lognshot and the ohter tried to kill him, but the doctor possibly protected him???) but I still don't see very many avenues for Maribro to actually be town.
Maribro's current play is "wait for the governor, he'll prove I'm innocent" but I'm still hung up on the fact that no governor in their right mind would have stopped that lynch.
It's late, this game is confusing, I should sleep.

Aight so i'm up to date, I'm still not sure what our conclusion is on what happened on night 2? Because that's important to figure out before we lynch Maribro.
Because the odds of the two mafia and the doctor targeting the same player seems very odd (especially since according to CubT that person wasn't Maribro?), are there any roles in mafia that can completely skip a night phase? My first thoughts are that if both longshot and CubT are telling the truth (and CubT has no reason to lie) that unless the stars aligned, we should look into that possibility.
I don't buy the "insane JOAT" for CubT's role tbh, it's a bastard role and I'd only believe it if many roles in this game were bastard roles. I agree with Pazx that a town governor doesn't really explain the no lynch.
