Live in WA and l imagine like many of you, my experience using the Nintendo online match making system has not been great. Being matched to people 1/2 way around the world does not make for a great fighting experience.

The best thing to do is to post in the Wii U Online Wifi thread to let everyone know that you're looking for matches. If you don't find someone straight away, keep trying!
Connections vary person to person but you should surely be able to find someone good - I can get a blue connection with people in Perth so it's more about your connection than your location.
I'll add your Miiverse account when I go on next and hopefully see you online.

Hey, I'm shintank and I'm pretty terrible. I used to play melee a lot when I was younger but never realised it was a serious game until lately. I've only been playing and trying to do things other than mindlessly mash for about a week now. Don't have a main yet but will almost definitely be some kind of rushdown character like fox, sheik, diddy kong or greninja.
Edit: I'm from SA but as far as australian internet goes, mine is somewhat decent so I can probably play okay with most.

Hey guys, Im Maribro aka Paper Maribro (if you have seen me on Smashboards). Im from England although currently living in Busselton or Perth depending on whether university is on or not.
