A quick reflection:
This was my second time running a game and I've never actually played the game before. Running with the Smash theme, I was keen on trying to get some creative ideas happening and being a bit more liberal with my power roles. Did I put as much thought into game balance as it deserved? Most likely not (we had three cops over the course of the game after all LOL); I just jotted down a bunch of ideas that I'd had at work and hoped it came together. If I thought town was too strong I just did half-assed things like give the goon a one-shot protect. Now I know to keep a better eye on this in the future.
I noticed a lot of people claiming that Urisk's back-up role was broken. In this set-up it was a very strong role, yes, but back-up isn't always a good role: you spend an indefinite amount of time with no ability at all, and there's no guarantee you get a good role when it does activate - the role would've been much weaker if Urisk inherited Wario the Mason or Peach the Beloved Princess instead (both roles I originally had but scrapped near the end).
What came out of this? A beautiful mess, but I hope everyone had fun regardless. I'm a little burnt out from all of this and I think the players deserve a small break as well; we managed to get through four full day/night cycles in a little over a week, so I won't be hosting a new game straight away - give me a week or so maybe. If anyone else is keen on hosting a game, let me know.
I will probably write some game commentary at some point; I regret not taking notes as the game took place now.

I do think this game exacerbated the town bias due to a number of coincidental factors.
- All of the random early town kills happened to fall on vanilla townies by chance

- The mafia lost a member before the game began.
I do feel like, had the circumstances of the game been different, it would have been possible for the mafia to win with this setup. Difficult - I still feel like with a blank slate the odds are in the town's favour - but possible.

I do feel I would be severely lacking in the flavour text department though, not only has Dean set a high bar, but I'm just super not creative or imaginative.

- Shoutouts to Atyeo being an incredible VT. Played an incredible game and it was a shame that he died so early. Looking forward to playing with him again in the future.
- Shoutouts to Aero's flavour text. Nearly convinced me that he was town but then I remembered that I thought he got investigated night 1. Well played overall but was super unlucky that town ended up with two cops
- Shotuouts to Invisi for cockblocking me every night then saying how convenient it was none of my powers worked. I definitely take back that hug I gave you at DIAD
- Shoutouts to Laggy for basically killing the game dead. From your mistakes I know exactly how to train my own league of mafia men should I ever be drawn as scum
- Shoutouts to Pazx for being GOAT Town Cop, hopefully someone else is cop should I ever become mafia
