"In its simplest form, Mafia consists of two sides: the Mafia, and the Town. The Mafia's goal is to kill the innocents, while the Town's goal is to kill the Mafia.

At the beginning of the game, the Moderator will secretly send everyone their role. The Mafia will know each other, while (in the basic game) everyone else will only know their own role.

The game has two phases. Usually the first is Night. During Night, the Town can not communicate, but the Mafia can discuss and choose someone to murder. After the Moderator has received the name of the victim, the Moderator reveals the dead player, and Day begins.

During Day, the Town must choose someone to Lynch; they are trying to eliminate the Mafia, but the Mafia can lead them astray by casting suspicion elsewhere. Generally, players will vote for someone they think is Mafia (the Mafia will vote so that they seem to be doing this as well, and might even vote for each other to confuse the Town); when a player gets a majority of the votes, they are lynched. Their role is revealed by the Moderator, and it is once again Night.

The game alternates between Night and Day until either the Mafia are eliminated, or the Mafia have killed everyone else."

Rules:

5. Lynching occurs once a majority has been reached.
6. If no majority has been reached upon the deadline, no lynch takes place.
7. Thread will be locked during the night phase until the next day phase.
8. Dead players cannot post in this thread, and can no longer communicate privately if their role dictated that they could.

Days have a deadline of one week. Nights have a deadline of 48 hours.
Inactive players with no prior notice will be given notice after 48 hours upon which action will be taken.

Okay wtf, you can't just put yourself as "active", CubT has made like double your posts and he is "fairly active".

I know this is just supposed to be showing how LEF has said nothing compared to anyone else, but it's quite annoying if you rank people inaccurately, especially if you use this for reference later.

Drop what lol we have no leads. We can bare in my information we have, but pressuring lachlan so he'll actually contribute might provide further insight into the game. If he still doesn't respond and it results in a lynch, then we have 1 less useless player, and more information from night actions.

It really depends on what you classify as recent. Looking back CubT has made double your posts on Day 2 but half of them are almost a Day old. I can see why you put him as fairly active now, and I apologise for calling you out on it.

Some thoughts on all the players.

MrL - Was mildly suspicious on Day 1, does not seem to be replicating that behaviour any longer and instead is contributing to discussion. Was targeting Urisk on Day 1, suggesting town should lynch him.
BattleDolphin - Voted for LEF Day 1 after LEF voted for him which wa considered slightly suspicious. Does not seem to have said anything else that could be interpreted as anti-town as of now.
FramesJanco - Was voted for being inactive and immediately contributed quite a bit. Now that there's no more pressure on him he's not very active. Pretty anti-town behaviour but I don't know if he's Mafia.
SpaceJam - Um, not too bad I guess. He was quite envious of JonCheee, that's about all I can remember (sorry).
InsertName71 - I can see this guy is actually legitimately making an effort to help town from his posts, Haven't seen any anti-town behaviour from him and he isn't afraid to ask questions for clarification.
HydroPimp - Has been quite inactive throughout the course of the game, possibly to keep attention away from himself? I currently have no reads on this small Pichu.
Maribro - Has been accused of playing differently but really I don't care if he's playing different he seems to be helping out town.
Wooy - I'm Wooy.
Urisk - Has been inactive as of recent, been accused of playing like he was when he was Mafia.
cAKE - Was quite helpful on Day 1, but has taken a more aggressive approach on Day 2. Accused Maribro and Bijou of being Mafia together.
LachlanF - Was okay on Day 1 but has said hardly anyhting. He needs to speak more otherwise he will be useless the whole game. The problem with these kinds of players is that if we lynch them they could be town and we waste our lynch but if we let them stay until the late game they don't help at all.
Bijou - Was accused of acting "newbtown". Honestly I don't think he changed after we established that newbtown was not an excuse for anti-town play as he made an analysis on the Corvid votes.
Rhyno - Has not really been active so I can't get a read on them.
JonCheee - He read through Mafia game 2, showing some pro-town behaviour.
Haiku - He is basically Laggy.
CubT - Justified his vote on Corvid by saying he hates Day 1. A pretty shit excuse to be honest but he has contributed to discussion since.

So I might get some things wrong sorry if I do.

I'm playing the same as I was in game 3, actually. Taking a cautious approach with a few, long, analytical posts. There doesn't seem to be a lot to go off as nobody has really been suspiciously. I made some highly valuable posts during the first day phase. I outlined some clear guidelines that the new players should try and follow (including avoiding quickhammering, voting no lynch is bad). These posts were largely ignored, however. Laggy quickhammered like his life depended on it and two newbies have tried to push a no lynch and I have called both of them out for it.

You keep saying I'm not taking the lead but I'm trying to, you've just blatantly ignored every single post I've made day one and decided to attack me the entirety of this day. It's hard to take lead of a situation if someone is constantly trying to muddy the waters of what you're saying. False accusations you've made toward me thus far:

1) Making lots of soft votes. cAKE quote: "Can you please tell us where all your 'soft' votes are going?". I have made one soft vote this entire game, towards FramesJanco as I want to hear more from him this day phase and his pushing of a no lynch was pretty suspicious on day 1 despite my post clearly outlining that no lynching is never a good idea.
2) I have a strange voting pattern. cAKE quote: " I'm feeling fishy about you as you're not really taking the lead as you have in other games and you are just throwing weird votes". Again, I've voted twice. My reasoning for the Corvid vote was very sound and if any of you had have played with Corvid in the past you probably would have reached the same conclusion I did. When I hosted a game in which he was pro town he played much differently.
3) Claiming I voted for SpaceJam. cAKE quote: " also marIbro you voted for spacejaM earlier on in the gAme so "I don't know what yoy're talking about doesn't apply". Not true at all, I made a meme vote in response to SpaceJam claiming he didn't have time for maf due to helping the community. My post was dripping with sarcasm and my vote hasn't changed from FramesJanco
4) Claiming I'm partnering up with Bijou a post after I told him that I would change my vote to him if kept pushing for a no lynch. If you READ my post you'll notice me outline that I thought his idea was terrible and that my vote will "remain with frames for now". For now implying that it is liable to change if he does any more suspicious stuff.

I've had enough, frankly. You've been aggressive since day 1 when Lachlan and Lachlan joke voted each other and also soft claimed a power role. cAKE quote: "There's probably no VTs this game imo "

cAKE seems way more aggressive this time around. I like it but he is putting his aggression to the wrong place. Mairibro is too smart of a player to try to prove he is mafia (if he was) without just words and no solid evidence, he will always come back with something smart to say. Targeting smart players this early in the game too is bad because with the low evidence, you can't prove they are mafia and could be lynching a strong use to the town even if they are vanilla.

I'm also on the fence for what is now a Maribro vs cAKE ugh, on the one hand, cAKE insists Maribro is acting super differently and fishy, and while I don't see it, I don't think cAKE is maf either because he thinks it's true. Maribro is definitely a strong player though and I can definitely understand why cAKE would want to rid of him (if he is maf ofc)

On the other hand, Maribro claims all these false allegations against him which essentially returns to cAKE is maf and wants to rid of a super strong town player (I would guess if cAKE's scum maribro is town lol).

From my knowledge cAKE has always been aggressive, so nothing new there. I do believe cAKE has made an error of judgment with the claims he's been making.

However, Maribro has been acting a little different in this game to be fair.. not leading town as much and self-referential in regards to the town's chances of winning. This could be seen as a change of tactics because of a change in role, or just learning from past mistakes.

Too hard to read on both ends, although I believe we should devote more time toward useless players, and getting them to act and be helpful, rather than attacking typically stronger players.

I don't think cAKE is Mafia, and I don't think he's a negative utility to town in order to lynch.

The last game, he played extremely well. As Maf, I don't think he would be so aggressive towards people. It wouldn't make sense.
