I'm for the laggy lynch today but we still haven't heard from Battledolphin, Extra or LuminousLucas. Laggy is a L-2 at this point so it's probably for the best that no one else votes for him until those people have said something.

i'm sick right now so blah.
don't really like invisi's play. picking laggy is fine but the literal first post of the game being a role reveal + bandwagon on a bad player stifles discussion. feels like it's just going 'hey guys let's rush day 1 so i can get my cool power'. yeah maybe we woulda just killed laggy anyway (most likely tbh) but it's still lame. most people's posts have just been a one-liner / nothing at all followed by voting for laggy. though i guess everyone hated day 1 last game so that's no surprise.
mafiawiki says almost nothing about bookie but says that sometimes it can augment existing powers. if he were mafia i'd imagine that's what his power does instead of what he said. claiming day 1 is very bold, gets all attention on him and isn't necessary to swing a laggy lynch though so i'm not inclined to believe he's mafia, and he is almost certainly the role he claims he is in spite of alignment.
as a member of last game's mafia faction, we were perfectly happy that laggy was kept around as even with his dumbass role we were confident that if things went ok we could probably swing another lynch on him. won't put him on L-1 just yet though cause it's been like less than 10 hours.

Well there's no real information to go off on day 1.
So Invisi chucked us a curve ball which could be true to get some discussion going on day 1. But it's hard to say cause there is no solid grounding to back up the claim since it is day 1.

Realistically we were probably going to lynch laggy anyway so Invisi's claim doesn't matter much.
Relax a bit though guys no need to finish this in 1 day when the day cycles are reduced to a week anyway. Will go by fast.

A few people have suggested waiting to see what happens, and while I respect that opinion, I just don't think it's necessary. It prolongs the game and makes it less interesting for everyone involved and provides no benefit to the town in the vast majority of cases. Waiting is boring; a fast game's a good game.
That said, I do want to hear from Laggy before we lynch him. If having him alive would be more useful to the town than a random one shot power on me, then that's definitely what we should do. But he's not convincing me at the moment; he's only posted once since the lynch train started and made no attempt to defend himself, instead accusing me of lying. Laggy, is there any reason we should let you live?

Just got NBN so I can post now.
Placing trust in Invisi on day 1 is a 50/50 situation. We either confirm they are town through their action/power etc. Or they are just lying to rush day 1.
Let's take time and not rush today because that's what the Mafia have and always will want.

I just don't like it. It smells off.
It's a completely different play to what Invisi has been doing the last few games at the beginning of each, when he was town.
If he's mafia, it's a rushed day 1 with an obvious lynch to make, town is done 1 with no objection. Yes he's a weak player, but we still have less information than if we drew it out some more. Day 1 provides little information, but there's always something. With this we'll get nothing.
It's even worse if he's a mafia bookie, then we'll be down 1 and mafia would have gained an power.
I've already said it and i'll say it again, but I just don't understand how willing people are to go along with it. I feel that people's eagerness to get day 1 out of the way is being abused.

While I don't necessarily agree with Invisi revealing his role this early on, I don't think he is Mafia for doing it. I feel like this would be too much risk for now being a prime target by everyone, for very little reward in lynching laggy. Just my 2 cents, lynch him imo. Idk how many votes there are rn so I won't cast mine yet

Lynching laggy garners no suspicion and a free ability that strengthens mafia.
I'm not saying he is, but if it were the case it's very beneficial.
It's not really a risky play (especially with everyone believing him) with little being able to be proven or disproven.
It's just best to consider all the different possbilities of the situation before jumping to conclusions and voting laggy out.

I can understand the suspicion, I haven't been so forthcoming with my role in previous games. As I previously stated, I decided to reveal my role because I felt that would be the best way to make my role most useful to the town, while also not drawing too much mafia attention my way (like a cop or doctor reveal would do).
Most town power roles want to hang back while they gather information, and only reveal themselves when they have enough useful information to contribute that even if the mafia take them out for it their contribution would have been a worthwhile trade. My role is different in that if I hang back and just keep guessing, the chances are likely that I won't get to use any abilities and will basically be a vanilla townie. That's why I decided to reveal as early as I did. Obviously, if I bet on someone who we find out to be town, then I won't advocate for lynching them. The life of a townie is worth more than a 1-shot power.

It feels as if you're contradicting yourself, "I don't want mafia attention on me" but you noted the fact that if you guess right you get powers, making you a quick target for mafia IF you are town IF laggy is lynched today, doesn't really add up. If Laggy is town and Invisi is mafia he could just want the free n1 kill so we're down 2 town before we have any real information, let alone knowing if or when Invisi gets his powers.
Not really feeling this lynch now, have some suspicion of Invisi but alas,

okay, so I think that a night 0 action isnt possible. even it is, I dont know if I would to believe it.
I think the reason why invisi claimed is because there was flavour text at the start of the game, maybe he could try to cover up the fact that a night 0 existed.
or he could be trying to control you guys and is the mafia plus I am a easy target.
