this is absolutely hilarious
thank you for coming forward

If wooy is lying then the real vigilante should come forward
If not, we should lynch Corvid for sure

I think Wooy got roleblocked Night 1, or there's a bulletproof vest in the game because protecting Corvid is a really bad play, considering how inactive and suspicious he was during Day 1.

maybe corvid can tell us something @dean: is there an order of operations for night actions? if two killing roles target each other do they both die? do all nightkills go through simultaneously, even if the sk/vig/mafioso dies at the same time?

i'm more interested in whether he's willing to tell us this information or not, i know some moderators announce it at the start of the game (eg. roleblocking happens before doctor happens before cop happens before vig kills happen before mafia kills)

Can role blockers be town?

yes, but they are usually mafia from what i have seen actually it might not be that uncommon for town roleblockers to exist, pls ignore me

Possible occurrences:
1) Corvid is innocent. Mafia roleblocker randomly role blocked wooy and he couldn't kill him. Seems weird because there was 0 evidence of wooy being special
2) town roleblocker roleblocked wooy suspecting him to be Mafia which isn't unreasonable considering there was some suspicion of wooy on day 1
3) Corvid is a bulletproof Mafia and we should lynch him as this is our only chance of killing him.
4) wooy is lying, which would be hilarious if he came up with the Ness back throw thing and probably deserves the win if he did
It's obvious therefore that there is a serial killer around. Or possibly a Mafia arsonist but I doubt this somewhat. I have my suspicion of who it is but maybe the doctor should reveal some information as we seem to be past the point of secrecy.

Alright, let's assume for a moment that Wooy and Maribro are both telling the truth. This still leaves an unexplained death last night.
The most unlikely scenario is that there is another townie with killing capabilities. Given that two townies have already claimed to have this ability, and both have said they did not target either player, I highly doubt that the town would have a third player able of night killing.
I doubt that the mafia have two killing roles, though I suppose it is possible that they have a power role with a 1-shot second kill, which they may have chosen to use last night. In this scenario, we have 2 unaccounted-for deaths on Night 1.
The final possibility, as others have alluded to, is that we have a serial killer among us. This would mean we have 3 unaccounted-for deaths on Night 1.
Now that I think about it, there are multiple reasons that deaths on night 1 may not have happened.
- Protection roles
- Roleblockers
- Multitargets
- Bulletproof
I somewhat doubt that there are any protection roles left in the game beside the doctor. I feel like a mafia doctor would be a bit too OP given how few they are (and that they know who their teammates are to protect), and Maribro has already claimed the 1-shot town doctor.
I haven't played with roleblockers before, but from what I've read they're a common anti-town role. So I think it's safe to assume at this point that there is a mafia-aligned roleblocker in this game. Perhaps he blocked Wooy? A town aligned roleblocker is also a possibility, but not a certainty.
Multiple killing roles on night 1 may have targeted the same player, who was subsequently saved by the doctor. This would be super lucky for us, but given what's already happened we seem to be in a scenario where the things which have a low chance of happening have already happened. So it's a very real possibility.
Finally, I've heard some roles can be bulletproof - a one-time immunity to night kills. This may have come into play on night 1.
That said I'm not 100% convinced Wooy is telling the truth. I'm not sure what he would have to gain by lying, but claiming "I have the power to kill people but dw guys I'm totally town pls believe me" should be treated at least somewhat suspiciously. I definitely want to hear from Corvid. What is your role in this game, and do you have a bulletproof ability?

the doctor should absolutely not reveal anything, that would be a great way for the town to lose this game and your constant suggestion to do such a thing is pretty scummy
also there is a #5 - corvid is bulletproof town, likely 1 shot bulletproof town, possibly with other powers.
it's time to hear from corvid.
02/23/2016 01:23:32
Town never has bulletproof unless they're cop. Serial killers and mafia are commonly one shot protected though.

02/23/2016 01:27:59
on second thoughts you might have intentionally left out #5 - my bad
forget your doctor play though, that's legitimately shit wouldn't a bulletproof cop be kinda busted? i think i've seen games involving a 1 shot bulletproof vanilla townie, or some other unimportant town role.

Well if we end up lynching the wrong person and losing then that's a shit play too. If the doc knows anything then he should speak up before we kill someone innocent at the very least.
02/23/2016 01:30:06
Is that so? Regardless serial killers and mafia are more likely to be protected.
02/23/2016 01:31:36
02/23/2016 01:31:36
the doctor should absolutely not speak up, the only time the doctor should EVER claim is when he has a confirmed townie and town outnumbers mafia STRONGLY (like 4-1) or if he's about to be lynched. we aren't going to lynch the wrong person today, we're haven't even heard from everybody yet. you seem to be rushing the day and i can't help but feel like that's not a town sort of play right now. let everybody speak and then we'll start talking about lynches.
let the doctor stay hidden.
02/23/2016 01:32:31

02/23/2016 01:32:31
It's been revealed that there are more than one kill powers in this game. Doc revealing himself will put a huge target on his back. I'd say let him keep himself hidden unless he's L-1
02/23/2016 01:34:37
02/23/2016 01:34:37
seriously i can't believe you're trying to out the doctor when we have 2 claimed town killing roles including yourself, surely you want the doctor keeping you alive long enough to get a shot off http://wiki.mafiascum.net/index.php?title=A_Beginner%27s_Guide_to_Claiming
tl;dr don't claim doctor, the only people that will claim doctor are mafia or the doctor who is about to be lynched http://puu.sh/nhYAG.png fos: maribro

I think a cop claim could potentially be ok in this situation as long as the doctor keeps them alive. It might reveal some information on who is town and narrow things down a lot. If the doctor keeps hidden then they're protected until the doc dies.
