Thanks Zydro! I was wondering what capture card you're using, since the HD60 only works through window capture on OBS for mac. It works well enough, but the frame rate would be better with direct input to OBS, which may be available with a different card.

I'm using a regular Elgato HD capture card, not the HD60. If you want me to bring it along or do some testing sometime, let me know.

Thanks, but I've just looked into it and don't think it will work. You can bring it along if you want, but it might just delay setup time.

Jett i recommend you don't bother trying to stream UQ because of the last minute rule change to 3 stock 6 mins, i personally believe these rules to be an embarrassment to smash in Australia and would rather people from overseas not look down on us

3 Stock 6 minutes will lead into alot of time outs for people willing to abuse it. I'd recommend either going 2 stock 7 minutes or running 3 with 9-10 mins. Would hate to see people win constantly on time out :<.

I talked to Lachlan and he said that he wanted to keep 2-stock 6-minute. But the committee saw that people wanted 3 stocks, but didn't want to increase the time for matches. He said if both players agree they can use an 8 minute timer in the pro singles winners bracket (providing time isn't scarce).
I know this isn't ideal, but I don't really want to abandon the stream for something as petty as a timer. However, the pro singles bracket is the only one where timeouts were really a problem and hopefully now it is not as much of a concern. On a related note, I very much agree that a higher timer is better can be even more efficient on time compared to a lower timer. Here's a great video explaining the matter:
