Today was a win win lose lose situation, sorry to all as I didn't dig deep enough into the rules, as I thought it was round robin and I thought that you can't ban the characters you banned last game, also thought they'd have good response time TVs.

Also @Maribo and @Red,
I would of loved to go to Cafe Myriade with yous, but as much of a mess it all was, I thought I'd stick with my team in this ugly tournament. If I could go back in time, I would of went with yous to Cafe Myriade.

(I forgot to mention) I would of brought my team along as well of course! EVERYONE was disappointed in the tournament. A tournament organizer said their reason was that game and watch's bucket is OP; that's why the character bans was in the rule set, and I think also because they don't even play the game (they're not good at any of the smash games); it was possibly just for the money for them. They maybe even trying to destroy the Smash 4 scene. But what ever it is, I believed in the tournament organizers and they let us all down big time. Anyways, lets not waste time thinking about that event.

I was yelling out is there a james around to no avail. Oh well, Im afraid next weekends tourney is also a no-go due to the expense of coming to Perth. I guess I picked the wrong tourney to make the journey for.

Its good to know you would have joined but overall, thats pretty harsh man, Im sure there was no malicious intent from the TOs. They are all nice guys and I wouldnt say they are all bad players. I mean, Jesses PM Ness is pretty damn good.

I dont think having a go at their integrity is going to fix anything either. They wanted to trial a ruleset but fucked up. Who cares? I mean, if anyone should be mad here, it should be me. Today has cost me in excess of $100. But at the end of the day, I got to meet a few more of the WA players, I got to hang at Myri with Byron, Red and Al, I got to have a few friendlies with Joel tonight too which I wouldnt have otherwise done if not for the tourney. Sure it wasnt what I was expecting and I only got one set in because I was held up but I honestly dont mind. Its not Marty, Jesse or Nialls intention for it to go like that.

I understand you are probably annoyed atm Elton, but making digs at people and such like isnt okay. Take a step back and a deep breath before you do something like that.

Speaking of dog bans, my favourite was when my captain in the pick up group team asked us all what our mains were, and then banned mine straight up in match one. Straight to losers bracket. Also that TO said bans were for the whole game. Marty clarified post hoc :(
