Step two do well

Mario is a great character for beginners to Project M as Red experienced first hand. His combos all come naturally and his aerials are all fairly lagless without l-cancelling so you dont feel it so much when you do.

My main is Game and Watch and if you want to learn him, I can give you all the tips there are.

PS I have been playing PM for ages, I cant wavedash.

I kinda wanna try Luigi, although 3.5 Ganon is so juicy. I'll try out Mario and a few other characters when I get a chance. I'm looking for a partner for the Myriade doubles, my friend can't make it. I promise I will try my best to not accidentally warlock punch you.

Singles was fun, came 9th. I need to get more confident with my rests as Puff, wasn't confident enough to go for one at high % even though there were a few moments I could have probably gotten one easily.

Anyone converting the Challonge to .tio? If not, I'll do it sometime tomorrow.

I think Dean manually does it though. Hey people, I just made a list of 'Ways to make the Perth Smash 4 scene better:'.
I think it's a good idea to keep this 'goal' in this cloud. Feel free to contribute (just keep it professional).
Hopefully some randoms will pop out of no where and host our dream tournaments.

Ways to improve the Perth Smash 4 scene:
*More events.
*Events utilizing TVs with fast response time (1 to 6ms).
*More TVs at events.
*Long events for friendlies afterward or before a tournament.
*Long events for multiple tournaments.

Yes, there aren't enough events for the Perth community ~ And I don't know about anyone else, but I absolutely hate Cafe Myriade (or as I like to call it; Cafe Crampiade) I've nothing against the cafe itself or the owners, but it simply is not a suitable venue for a Smash Bros. tourney. Like Elton said earlier, we need a place similar to the ECU tournaments. It's relatively spacious (at least for our turn out numbers) and it has room for twenty odd setups.

I'll spend some time doing some research on it, see if I can't find some hidden gem. In the meantime, is the ECU rooms only free for ECU students? If so then we should try and get in touch with a student who goes there and see if they can't book an additional room or two for smash4 ect.

Im just glad theres a place were they'e holding tournaments in perth. Im new to the compititive scene and i thought there was none here, I plan on going to the Myraide for my first tournament ever. ...Im excited

just a BTW post, For friendlies:
*There is also: Smash for free Friday is on from 2pm-7pm every Friday afternoon at Cafe Myriade
(includes 4 Sm4sh set ups and 4 PM set ups.). They only started this as of recently. I added this to the top post.
Do note that the HD TV's for smash 4 at Cafe Myriade have a response time of about 6-12ms. It is still decent to play on.
(I have quite a bit of knowledge and experience on response time of TVs, I myself use a 1ms response time HD tv)
