Howdy y'all so first off, to make sure we don't waste today's lynch, vote: Lachlan F
okay so I spent the last 2 hours going through everything that's been said so far, so here are my thoughts on everyone in no particular order:
Glace: sexy-awesome, shouldn't be voted
Exist: definitely new at this, made a few notable mistakes early on which I can look over for the first day, but he also made a big deal about how Lachlan was the best vote since he was the least active, despite that being Jeans at the point he mentioned it (and still is, btw). He also effectively said that Rhyno couldn't be mafia because smart mafia wouldn't be posting that much, which is dangerously wrong. At this point I'm really iffy about this guy
Lachlan: everyone's voting on this guy and his defence is 'pull the trigger piglet' >:/
I do think he's a townie, but I think he's an uninvested townie and we're running out of time so I understand why lynching him wouldn't be a bad move at this point.
cAKE: i think cake is the player I've been playing the least attention to, but when I went back to see what he's been saying, I noticed that despite saying a lot of words, he never really gave an opinion on what's going on. It was just a lot of fluff, or explaining day 1 stuff, or just saying what everyone already knows, or w/e. That's usually a mafia tactic to make it seem like you're contributing, while not actually saying anything to rock to boat, so to speak. Wanna hear some actual opinions about players down the line.
Aero: I'll admit that I did want to vote you for meta reasons, which is really dumb, but also I noticed that when Rhyno voted for you, you effectively said nothing and gave the exact same list as Rhyno's in terms of people you wanted to vote (minus yourself, of course) and called it a day. That, along with the shenanigans earlier in the day, make me wanna assume that you're just a town player really uninvested with day 1, but I'm also gonna keep a close eye on you next day.
BD: hasn't posted much, but I agree with most of his logic, I can even see where he was going when he was being suspicious of me, looking from the outside in. I'm okay with him for now.
@yow: dude's too smart for me to make a legit read on him just yet, he LOOKS like he's thinking about the game and saying what he sees, but it could easily just be him playing as mafia and screwing everyone over. I think he's fine for now, seeing as there are other players I'm more worried about being mafia, which means if I'm right there's less chance that he's an actual threat, but I also want to take everything he says with a grain of salt, just in case.
MrL: I don't think he's said anything notably useful yet, and has been pretty noncommittal the entire time, either not saying anything about the game, or just kinda agreeing with everyone else. Huge suspect for me atm.
Rhyno: The loudest player in the game atm, and as such is the player we've got to be the most weary of. Last thing we need is mafia leading all of town on a goose chase.
On that note, he's mostly been trying to get conversation started, which keeps getting sidetracked by people being all 'lmao just lynch me, you won't', so I can understand why he keeps throwing votes around like that. Although I'd like to note that he called me and Aero out for bandwagoning on his votes, however I think it's pretty clear that Aero was memeing at the start of the day with his vote. My vote on Aero I can understand being a little skeptical of, but I did give differing reasoning for my vote than him, as opposed to just blindly bandwagoning. It's probably just seeing the votes and not the reasoning behind it that gave him that opinion, but it's still worth noting (again, most vocal player = gotta be analyzed that much harder).
Jeans: dude posted less than Lachlan, disappeared, and no one noticed. He mentioned that he wanted to lynch Lachlan and Mr L, but didn't commit either time. Worth keeping him in mind tomorrow.
So tl;dr:
Lach is likely town, but he doesn't care and we're outta time so >:(
Mr L is my most likely mafia member, followed by cAKE, then Exist
Jeans is mia, but suspicious
Aero is likely chill, but curious to see how he plays in Day 2 before I commit to that thought
Atyeo and Rhyno are terrifying, but are probably on our side?

Day 3 Mafia are generally in voting power at this point and unless power roles got some good information during the night they usually run the town. Day 4, games over almost, mafia killed all the active people during the night and all that's left is inactives.
So I basically tried to get everyone to talk early on, with minimal success I guess? I did get some discussion but it really wasn't what I wanted, hopefully day 2 leads to a bit more.

Either way, let's hope this game gets off to a good start.
My biggest mafia suspects at the moment are the people who didn't actually vote at the moment, trying to keep under the radar maybe.

I miss Super Sexy Awesome Glace already. With 8 people, 6 are town and 2 are Mafia.

I'm going to tag my vote on MrL since I'm less convinced that Exist/Rhyno/Atyeo are mafia and more inclined to say the 2 mafia are within the BD/MrL/cAKE group instead.

Rn I’m feeling that BD or cake are mafia. Was actually a bit suss of glace’s list lol but here we are. My line of thinking rn is either someone like BD who glace said is fine, killed him to implicate the suspects, or cake (which is the most likely of his suspects imo) killed him to try to ease off some heat which wasn’t a good move if that’s the case.
Makes sense with the suspision toward me, I’m not ask active as I usually am because I don’t have a reliable laptop to use conveniently.

The loss of Glace is kinda unfortunate. If I had to guess, that big writeup scared the mafia. Either his guesses were a little bit too good or someone who didn't seem too suspicious wants to throw suspicion elsewhere. I'm not going to throw names around yet because, quite frankly, it's too early for this information to mean much to me and I have nothing to input that hasn't already been said.

After getting called out by Aero, MrL didn't even address the call out but instead he said cake is the most likely suspect. There isn't much to go off this little interaction atm but if cake ends up being innocent (even though I agree with him that cake is super suspicious) then I would be heavily suspicious of MrL.

Rhyno a firefighter claim doesn't need to be proven. We know there is one and there's no reason for someone who is town to counter claim firefighter.

Anyway yeah that's very interesting Glace died, I guess the Mafia felt potentially super attacked by his list? I am super surprised they didn't even try to go for one of the classic heavy hitters like Rhyno, Ateyo and stuff
Has Glace been in any previous games? Kinda leads me to points like the mafia could be slightly inexperienced when it comes to playing with the other members? Eg. My computer exploded so I don't know how active I can be, I'll try to make posts from my phone or something instead. (Currently using my brothers computer while he's at work)
I don't know if I'd actually call myself a good player by any means by the way, I typically just talk lots cause it's fun. :)
I've actually only played like 3 games, one I came in as a fill in day 3 and became town MVP cause of dumb luck, another I was mercy killed due to a mistake and the other the game ended day 1 cause of character claiming.
Most of my experience comes from actually watching and running games, so I know how a lot of the thinking goes on. But even that changes from game to game.
A strat I used to see mafia run was to let the better players live for a bit so that they'd get lynched, cause there is no way they wouldn't be killed by mafia or something. However this shouldn't happen since we know the power roles available.
Still want cAKE to say something by the way, it is around Christmas though, so I'll let it slide this time.

Most of my experience comes from actually watching and running games, so I know how a lot of the thinking goes on. But even that changes from game to game.
A strat I used to see mafia run was to let the better players live for a bit so that they'd get lynched, cause there is no way they wouldn't be killed by mafia or something. However this shouldn't happen since we know the power roles available.
Still want cAKE to say something by the way, it is around Christmas though, so I'll let it slide this time.

I also think 2 mafia is likely, also to explain better BD I meant the pro-town behaviour/things said that were already obvious, stated a bunch or generally didn’t help with discussion at all. Basically appearing clearly town while doing nothing to help it which you’ve done previously as mafia. Not an accusation but an observation.
Also @atyeo I did respond to aero, tldr understandable that id be suspicious because of being deemed noob mafia and that I agreed on cake or BD being mafia too and gave my reasons
Also being not familiar with ateyo was about his typical behaviour, not his ability lol so ur grasping at straws with that
