Well Lachlan has talked and he seems to be acting like he does when he's town so I'm going to take my vote off him. I'll vote for Murkiri if he ends up getting an inactivity warning but right now he should have enough votes so that if he actually sees the chat, he will respond. Vote: Unvote
12/17/2016 04:58:59
uhh maribro i have voted i voted or duon the mods just missed it for some reason lol. anyway i think murkiri is probably mafia rom what we know but we need to see how he defends himself. I think lachlan and Spacejam are both town. Lachlan is playing pretty shit though so maybe he should try harder. It's cool to see spacejam trying more and im hesitant to belive he is being told what to say by the mafia as they doesnt work out all the time. One time i was mafia with Lachlan and he got lynched day 1 or 2 cause he was being an idiot and wouldnt liisten to our advise.

Hmmm I haven't got much to chime in atm, besides that:
- Lachlan playing poorly as usual, and that defense is hella suss. His wording suggests that he has a power role. I'm not sure whether I'd like him in town with how he's playing, or lynch a negative utility but lose a potentially important power role
- Spacejam claims that his past few posts were done in a drug induced stupor. While they read somewhat awkwardly, he's been contributing in town's discussion, and that's more I could say than some people atm
- Murkiri... smh yeah I wanna hear more out of this kid
Vote: Unvote

If Muriki ends up contributing poorly I believe they're the new Laggy. Or basically a new Corvid if they don't post much, have you got any results from him Insert?
12/17/2016 07:56:19
12/17/2016 07:56:19
I really hope murkiri isn't another laggy, corvid, Lachlan, Autumnwind or a mix of any of them.

12/17/2016 11:36:41
Well it looks like Murkiri isn't going to be posting anytime soon. Vote:Murkiri

I spend most of the day watching the Melbourne stream and then spent some time uploading results to this website (Smash.gg will be the end of me) but I will be out all day tomorrow so should write some things while I can.
I am indeed a cuck but pressuring people is sort of how we win the game, I'm not really going to sit here and coast while waiting for town power roles to carry me through the game.
I had no idea what Lachlan was trying to say since I haven't played SuMo yet so thanks Extra for explaining what the hell Burn Up is. Lachlan if you're jumping on a bandwagon can you explain why you're doing so instead of posting a picture of a bandwagon, can you post some thoughts, any thoughts at all on the game so far? You've still yet to really contribute, we have a good 10+ pages of game so surely you have something.
There is surely 0% chance he's claiming arsonist, that is suicidal, no matter what you think of Lachlan's gameplay he wouldn't so this.
Or maybe I'm overthinking, we are talking about someone who hammered themselves when they were vanilla townie...
Also can someone point out this mason business, I must've missed this.
I'm starting to not really know what to do apart from wait for a Murkiri response which may or may not come (and I don't like waiting around anyway) so I had a quick look through everyone's post histories again.
InsertName I feel is coasting/trying to fly under the radar, hasn't contributed to discussion apart from a couple of summaries and uhh what can I say seems half-hearted with votes and stuff? I don't know it's a gut feel I guess but I'm usually happy to trust my gut when we don't have any solid evidence.
Well I mean the only hints to roles we have is Lachlan's involves burning stuff but apart from that.
Corvid isn't easy to read but he never really has been and if you compare his attempts to contribute to something like the Smash Bros. game where he was scum and basically his entire Day 1 contribution was like "VOTE: JLo" and "IDK what to do really UNVOTE" then I feel he's been more positive.
BUT that was a long time ago, people change and get better at the game w/e.
HydroPimp, ThatLaggyPerson similar.
AutumnWind I don't have as much data on, seems to go with the flow/easily persuaded by others but was the same last game so *shrugs*
Duon I'm not getting reads on, he's posted real little and his contributions mostly sum up to "Day 1 is dumb", campaigning for No Lynch and suggesting our safest lynches are Corvid/Lachlan/Laggy.
He made a statement about anything we go for is basically a hard read,
but I do feel that at it's heart this is mostly a game of reads, as barring a cop coming out and telling us what to do (which is not completely foolproof, with things like sanities, Godfathers and framers potentially interfering) we know nothing but our own role and thus are going to have to take risks to win.
Lachlan I've said enough on. SpaceJam as well.
Invisi is sort of only spoken about lynching weaker players and then wanting no lynch, which is like similar to how he played last game, yes I've gathered you don't like Day 1 but I would still encourage you to post any reads you may have, we're on page 14 I doubt you have nothing.
Luminescent yeah quiet until started getting called out and then started adding to discussion. Don't have much more to say.
LuminousLucas another I don't have reads on.
Windkeeper0, cjeccjec, Ghostbone kind of, MrL, Extra, Maribro (stop sucking up to me though), JLo have been contributing to discussion and seem town, but I have high enough expectations of all these guys that I'd expect them to play this way even if they were scum.
BUT at this stage I'm not really getting any scum vibes from the above group.
Bijou as well, I was a little suss when SpaceJam basically said "You're playing well, Doc should protect you", I kind of felt they were both scum and SpaceJam was trying to coerce a potential Doc to protect his teammate, but since then Bijou has been one of the players hounding SpaceJam the most, BUT it's possible that this is all part of their plan and they are both mafia ooh mindgames but honestly speaking I wouldn't have any idea.

pic that lachlanF posted was captioned with 'mason city band from mason city' which stuck out for me i'm probably just retarded for not reading it as bandwagon though lol.
too tired to think about the game right now, just wanted to clarify the way i read his post.

Not going to bother voting on Murkiri, if he won't reply after the pressure that is already on him, receiving a strike and being contacted by insert then he never will. Would rather lynch Lachlan on the off chance he's an arsonist (unless someone can inform me of another power role that is similar to burn up)

I just want to add,
I've had my opinions on a day 1 lynch changed through the points of many players.
I'd like to hear from Invisi, Duon and of course Murkiri, as to why they still feel voting a no lynch is still a good idea.
Those who haven't voted I'm fine with because there is enough pressure being put on Murkiri for the time being.

I don't think I've said anything today, I should probably do that.
Day 1 is boring. I'm keeping my vote for no lynch, but at this point I'm really not too fussed what you guys decide as long as it doesn't take until Christmas. There's really not too much you can learn on day 1 when the only people that know anything are the mafia. And another reminder that I'm away this weekend, so my next post will probably be Monday unless the thread picks up in the next couple hours before I leave work.
Invisi will be around soon I guess.
Also, as you can see in the bolded area, they are not that fussed about what we do but of course that might change soon. My read so far on Invisi is that they are town and don't know what to do currently but we'll see on day two when there's more info to make reads with.

Hydro, how could Mafia tell spacejam what to say on day one? Can't they only communicate during night?
That's it for me so far, hope I helped.

That's how our reads of people lurking and trying not to draw too much attention to themselves get clouded by people actually being inactive

Incidentally I don't think Murkiri is going to be maf, but if the day is going to run out without a lynch I'll put a vote on him anyway because:
A) as we've discussed already I think any lynch is better than a no lynch in this game
2) inactive players are what leads the mafia to win (or at least contributed to it in the last few games I was involved in)
III) may as well do the mods a favour. Trying to deal with inactives as a mod myself last game was cancer

Ok so i come back after a couple of days to find that im begin voted against. I have been inactive due to family outings and whatnot, but i will try to be more active.
Anyway, As previously said, this is my first game. I am completely unsure on what i am supposed to be doing on Day 1. Most people are saying that i am maf or scum, because im being inactive or just becausr i didnt want to lynch anyone, dispite people giving reason to lynch. i have re read, through the every post and have only seen reason to lynch a couple people based on a couple of things but not enough to immediatly vote for them.

Murkiri have you played mafia before this game? You should really make an effort to be more active and post on the thread. Even stuff like 'I think x is suss because y' or whatnot, anything that can start a discussion. Being inactive is looked upon very unfavourably, if you don't have the time to play, just let the mods know so they can arrange a leeway for you or sub someone else who's more keen.
Btw voting for the day length already ended.

also, mafia know who each other are, meaning once a couple of people started voting for me, they probably thought 'Hey, Murkiri isnt mafia, if we vote for him as well, it would be an easy lynch, trying to get rid of an inecperienced player, then we can kill another town at night'. Notice how once a couple of people voted for me a crap tone of other players did as well. i see that as major giveaway to who maybe mafia. but once again, i still believe it's still too early to be lynching unexperienced*.
Lol my bad
I am now free to play properly. And wasnt sure if wasnt sure if we were still voting on the day length thing anymore....

Bijou, is there some Davinci Code that needs to be figured out in your latest post?
What's with the:

I'm not saying your mafia or anything. It's just that the formatting is making me violently uncomfortable.
Also Murkiri, your last post doesn't sound like a defense to me.
Fair enough that you've had family outings etc. It's Christmas time! But you haven't really justified why you still won't cast a vote. I think it's pretty certain at this point that a majority of town wants to lynch someone day 1. I myself have had my opinion changed.
You've said " have only seen reason to lynch a couple of people based on a couple of things but not enough to immediately vote for them".
Who are these people? What are the "couple of things" you feel they need to be lynched for? Unless I'm missing something, your post as a whole feels very vague to me.
The most attention has been put on you and frankly I'm not satisfied with your response.
( I don't know why, but I feel very mean posting this D: )
