If there really is no SK there must be like 5-6 mafia I suppose? (1 less than that since MrL is gone)
Mafia clearly wanted to get rid of the confirmed townies first, knew they couldn't target bijou, so had to go after murkiri/insert instead.
This game is going pretty well lol.

This is looking pretty good for town I'd say.
Murkiri is now 100% confirmed town and there will be no kills the next night phase.
@Bijou Did you happen at all to transport Invisi and Dean last night?

Why do you ask? But yes I swapped Dean and Invisi last night
01/05/2017 14:12:49
Because now that I have confirmation from Bijou I will share.
I used my 1-shot Investigative on Invisi last night and got back a result for Dean.
Dean came back as [Anti-Town]

Bijou roulette is my favourite Mafia game.
I dont think we have any reason to doubt Lumi so I would totally like to put pressure on dean.

Also on the topic of last day, Since Laggy was lynchproof, I gather that its confirmed that this is a "Role Madness" game.
The wiki says 1-shot unlynchables can go either way, but do we give laggy a second chance for the next day? (Since virgin protection is in effect tonight)

Hmph. Good job Bald Man *shakes fist*.
Under normal circumstances I'd try to save face by claiming I was framed/the cop's insane/the cop's lying, but at this stage I feel it's best to come forth and say that I'm the Serial Killer in this game.
Town indeed has to lynch me at some point to win this game, but I will say that up to this point I have not tried to kill anyone so I am not an immediate threat to any townsfolk's safety (I am not Public Enemy #1); if it lets me play this game a bit longer I am happy to put my mind to use to scumhunt as I have been doing up to this point of the game and shoot who town wants me to shoot from Night 4 onwards

Dean's confession makes me believe he is actually a Jester which is still [anti-town]
as if he was the Serial Killer he would have killed people the first 2 nights. I mean the Jester wins by getting hung so I'm not entirely sure If I want to go through with this lynch.
http://wiki.mafiascum.net/index.php?title=Jester
If he is indeed a Serial Killer, I've had this tactic used before. Keep him alive and before the day ends tell him to kill someone we think is evil and if he doesn't comply, gets lynched the next day. This is however a VERY risky tactic as the Serial Killer is in no way inclined to help either side. Also the way he slammed the vote on Laggy yesterday without giving him a chance to defend himself shows the trait of a Jester.

The way I see it, a dean lynch is pretty safe.
Either
A) he is SK and we've killed another anti-town (we dont need sk help at this point)
B) he is jester and we cop a hit (with virgin in affect tonight we only lose one town, POSSIBLY one mafia)
C) hes mafia and weve killed him
The worst case scenario is obviously B, but I dunno about anyone else but Jester role in forum seems unlikely. Im also not against giving jester a victory in order to move town forward. Depends on how people feel about that last part. We have a unified town and it seems the number of candidates to be maf are getting more slim by the page, game is going very well.
I also blocked Corvid cause I still think hes anti-town being quiet as per usual "Jailed" Corvid rather

With Dean's recent confession, I think it's worth considering a 'deal with the devil', to word it another way. We can keep him around until day 4 since Insert's Power will be active tonight, and let him partake in discussion until then. With the way he has played until now, he's a more valuable asset than some townies in the game atm lol
Ofc if you think that's risky we can always go from the safe play and lynch him

Well this is certainly an interesting turn of events. Also hi, I'm back at work this week so I have time to procrastinate and play mafia instead of actually working. =P
Dean's "reveal" is very interesting. I was suspicious of Bijou yesterday, but I think at this point it's pretty much confirmed that he is indeed the bus driver. Unless Bijou/Dean/Lumi are somehow pulling off the most amazing mafia play I have ever seen, in which case they probably deserve to win.
I actually agree with Lumi that there's a good chance Dean is a Jester. He's smart, and I'm not sure he would give away his role like that. While we could just lynch him as Duon suggested and accept that if he's a Jester he wins with us, I don't really think intentionally lynching someone we suspect to be a Jester is really in the spirit of the game. I suggest that we should use night 4 to have a town vigilante target him (because I'd be very surprised if we don't have one), and if he survives then he's most likely telling the truth (since SKs are usually bulletproof) and we can decide what to do from there.
By the way, despite the lack of night kills, I can 100% confirm that there is a serial killer in this game. I don't know who it is, but my role has confirmed to me that there is one in the game.
Insert's death is disappointing. He was clearly the most obvious mafia target, being confirmed town by Murkiri and still having his own power role to potentially threaten the mafia with (unlike Murkiri, who basically becomes vanilla after having used his masoniser power). I even explicitly said yesterday that he was the most likely target and the protection roles ignored me. I'm disappointed in you guys =(. Fortunately his role didn't turn out to be vital like a cop or something, and even helps us on death, so it all turned out okay.
The last big unknown is Laggy. He has claimed to be 1-shot lynchproof, which imo is a much more likely scenario than something like a mayor (or whatever Spacejam's role in the Smashbox game was). The question remains as to his alignment. Would there be a lynchproof scum in this game? Is Laggy now a vanilla townie or could he potentially have some other role? I don't really know the best way to answer these questions - any suggestions?

Thinking Dean is jester is probably overthinking things.
Even if he is, its not that bad for us, it's much worse to just leave a mafia/sk alive the whole game just because they might be a jester. Idk what it is with people's fascinations to keep anti town players around (if you think hes SK, then lynching Dean is fantastic because town night deaths will stay at 1 per night).
Any of this "well let's use him as a makeshift vigilante" is dumb because SK has no allegiance to town.
Anyone that actually wants to keep Dean around is extremely suspicious to me, and likely to be mafia buddies with him.

Can you clarify exactly what your role was please Lumi? If it was a one shot role then revealing exactly what the role was will give everyone better information. The fact Dean isn't defending himself is setting off warning bells for me. He's a smart player and I feel like he's giving in a bit too easily.

I have 2 more different abilities both 1-shot. Not saying what they are in case mafia/sk can use them against me and the town. I'm a Jack-of-alltrades.

we are in a really good position right now, nights have been going almost perfectly lmao.
honestly i was worried that dean might be mafia and claiming SK as a way to live longer and be "pro-town" as i was really doubting the existence of a serial killer after two nights with only one kill occurring, but seeing as invisi has apparently confirmed SK exists then i'm more inclined to believe dean. from my perspective, he's not a high priority right now - i think dean is the kind of player who would have fun figuring stuff out even if he can't really win so if you guys want to keep him around for a night or two then i don't really care. i'm also very much on board for killing him just to reduce risk, but we could honestly kill him whenever. having another night to do whatever we want without fear of death means that we have a fair amount of leniency right now.
i personally don't think he's jester, but i don't think it matters very much if he is. let's say we lynch dean and he wins - so what? as long as we're still in a position to win, which i think we very much are, it doesn't really matter if dean wins alongside us. lynching him intentionally might not be in the "spirit of the game" - so what? take the W my dude.
having said that when i've played IRL mafia with a jester, if they get lynched they get a night kill. if this is the case it's obviously bad for us but i don't see any mention of it on mafia wiki so it might just be an irl thing.

In my experience, lynching a Jester leads to a night kill but since we are under the virgin protection tonight it should not have any effect.
So either way Dean is a good lynch whether he is SK/Jester/Mafia.

Crazy good night phase again for town. This game really has been all over the place. Laggy being lynchproof is a big meme and I still have some lingering suspicions about his alignment. dean being SK surprises me, he was putting in mad work to discuss town's position and critically analysing players. Town got super lucky that Bijou roulette swung the one shot investigate onto dean because I know for sure, if I was cop I wouldn't have been investigating dean.
Killing dean off is probably in town's best interest so imma help that happen.

granted i'd like to see what other people think about "using" him. i'm pretty easygoing either way.
on the subject of laggy, him being lynchproof is a 7/10 solid meme. but also i don't really care to go after him immediately. if we keep dean around i think he'd be a decent NK target but i'd rather focus on other people.
