Ghost's role cop last game was balanced by him being a traitor, so the mafia couldn't actually use him at the beginning of the game. They just got super lucky by hitting him on the first night.

once again people are pulling the whole "we should use the rest of the day to pressure people!!!" but not actually contributing by pressuring people. you guys...
this vanillariser role seems pretty broken and stupid so i'd fucking hope it's x-shot. i can't see any realistic counterplay to it right now as we only have suspicions of certain people, much less an idea of who has which role. pray there's a rolestopper who guesses correctly, i suppose? someone made a good point about the people who were eager to mass claim potentially doing so to lure out the good roles which is interesting. starting to become more suspicious of luminous lucas. i'd put a vote on him but it's probably a waste of time to do it today.

it's hard to commit to a lynch other than Dean for today, since it's hella hard to look more scummy than the SK who has the chips stacked against him. on the other hand, what can we really accomplish on the next day when there's no NK to pick up on? Makes me think now that since Dean is basically guaranteed a lynch, we can postpone his death up till next day. We can lynch someone else today. Thoughts? fuck parrots

I think JLo raises a solid point (and I say this not just in the interest of self-preservation). Since I couldn't kill tonight even if I wanted to, it would be potentially great for town to lynch their next best suspect and potentially hit a mafia power role that actually COULD hinder the town tonight like the vanillaiser.

He's a bright glowing target for a lynch, and since majority if town is playing passive af atm, they're not inclined to do any other play. I firmly think we'll accomplish more by lynching Dean later tho, so in order to commit similar to the way you committed, imma hold off my vote for Dean for now.

Voting someone other than Dean today doesn't make sense.
We have more information from our night roles tomorrow to make a better decision in terms of who we want to vote for aside from Dean. you cant assume we will get valuable information tonight but it's pretty much guaranteed mafia will get valuable information tonight and i can see where you are coming from im unsure on which should we do. we wont have thattt much info tomorrow if we lynch since we know the role of the person we lynch and there wont be any night kills. Im sure dean is sk. If you actually look at his posts it makes sense he is the sk and i highly doubt he would of planned it all from the beginning if he was mafia. I dont think mafia would be the ones pushing towards a mass claim, though it could have been a risk they were trying to make. With mafia so far behind it would make sense for them to have to take risks to still win. So who knows. Maybe dean is mafia and we are all being played but like, when dean is lynched today or tomorrow what did the mafia gain out of that lie. They got to use deans power again and that's it. So the only real reason to lynch dean today rather than tomorrow is if you think he is mafia which i find unlikely or you think we will hit a bulls-eye again which i also find unlikely. Or we could lynch somebody who in my opinion is much more likely to be mafia than dean. Hopefully the good mafia players can read between the lines in this post but if i have to dumb it down for you guys idk sure i dont lose much but id rather not ya know? Do you think that there is going to be a cop in this game together with Luminescent's one-shot investigate? Cop is realistically the only town role that can gather more info tonight than you would have otherwise (Tracker/Watcher won't do much since no one is going to go out to kill), and this game is already super-stacked with town power roles as it is.
Mafia are also extremely likely to have information-gathering roles that benefit from night like Tracker or Rolecop.
I was aware that when Bijou announced he was Vanillaized that would paint my SK claims in a bad light, however,
I feel that when I asked Bijou if he was visited by Fruit Vendor / joked that he was visited by forgetful cop that this comes across as genuine (because it is)
I feel that if I was mafia I wouldn't have mentioned anything about roleclaim as when the vanillaised player announced this would've made me look bad, and if I was mafia roleclaiming SK then it would be in my best interests to keep up the facade up until the final moment I get lynched to mislead town as long as possible.
Since mass roleclaim was always unlikely to happen (since nobody in this game seems to like to take risks of any kind) but I do feel my reasons for it were very justifiable

With Vanillaiser in the picture, any power role with a strong impact would be hesitant to claim due to the threat of neutralisation. Today would definitely be not a good day to claim. I'm still unsure about what other roles Mafia have in their disposal, but I'd imagine they'd have strong roles to counteract the amount of power roles within this game (roleblocker, maybe another strongman, godfather?).
If it comes down to a mass roleclaim at some point in the game, the game state will boil down to weeding out the liars from all of it. We have a scum list to work with for this purpose. I'm still against it due to reasons stated earlier, but if anyone can provide more arguments for it, I guess town discussion can continue off it.

I've been so scummy this game even I am surprised.
The first game I was win I had nothing to lose, posting with so much confidence and giving it my all, with little thought put into the posts. Now I actually check my posts multiple times, make sure I'm posting at a relevant time and making sure it's decent enough as a post. I'm constantly trying to think of leads/reads but I just can't get myself to think hard as I want to. I didn't say I supported the mass role claim, I said what would come of it IF we did it. I don't support the role claiming now as of the reasons everyone has stated. I'm constantly trying to be a better player and are definitely learning that I'm currently not good enough for the town, which I am going to improve on.
I do think that the fruit vendor/vanillisor role in this game will be Mafia aligned and wanted to use the power on bijou to prevent another Mafia from dying.
Let's continue to pressure others once everyone else is ready to move on.

What happens if Dean is a mafia tratoir and gets targeted the night coming? Would he still get recruited even though tomorrow night is no kills?
He's provided a lot of good evidence to say he's SK so he probably is that, but just throwing out the possibility.
Also at this point I'm going to turn the town's direction back at Spacejam to be honest. Day 1 he was playing much more strongly but when I called this out he's gone right back into his shell. Not gonna throw out a vote or anything at this stage but I just want to make sure we haven't forgotten.

(As a SK If I was targeting people I would go after anyone I had cop/tracker reads on (which I didn't have at the time... still don't), and then after that I would've gone after inactives since they make the game less interesting to play heh.)

I still read this thread, I've "gone back into my shell" because I think this game is retarded. With 18 people in it and what I consider only 4 people playing this game I find it hard to partake in this discussion.

Vanillariser is OP as shit. It's probably the traitor if there is one due to it's power. I don't understand why they would target bijou though. I'm cool with not voting dean. His thoughts on the game are usually good. Leaving SK alive a day is alright with me. If he is Jester and really wants to kill someone then I won't even be mad.
What I wouldn't mind doing today is putting pressure on Corvid. Everyone keeps talking about the one time he did a good play but I've yet to see anything worthwhile from him. If we're not going to lynch dean, then I would rather lynch someone who at least doesn't participate at all

Bijou asked late on Day 2 for a protective role to target him - mafia would've seen that and assumed he wasn't targeting himself that night.
Either that or Bijou decided to add some WIFOM to the game but that wasn't the case.

Bijou got vanillaised because of the impact of his night 1 play. No doubt that if more players with similarly powerful roles (and plays) were to come out, they're a prime target for the vanillaiser. I guess if a mass roleclaim is to be done, then they'll have harder job of assessing who to target, in exchange of having basically a hitlist. I think Corvid's gonna get replaced or endgamed one way or another due to his previous infractions. I don't see him as a main target for now.

Roleblocking trumps Bus Driver so they could have killed me if they wanted to with that combination (assuming that I was able to keep protecting myself).
Maybe the mafia don't even have a roleblocker. Surely after two nights someone would be able to confirm that their role had been blocked?
